Nothing special (not a designer) but looks smart and features bells which are also found on many fruitys.

It's fine, and Christmas stuff isn't supposed to look tasteful anyway!

You got to have one, it's only once a year after all.

Yes it does, but unfortunately nowadays it starts in September and by 25th December I'm sick to death of hearing about it... roll on Jan 2nd!

I love it. But for me Christmas starts on Christmas Eve. I try to enjoy 12 days from the 25th, It's sad how people are synced with the shops nowadays, people start taking decorations down by Boxing, mainly because they trimmed up in November, which is ridiculous.

Christmas starts when my parents arrive, which didn't happen the last 2 years as both times my Mum spent Christmas and New Year in hospital extremely ill.

It end when they go home.

Our tree isn't up yet, although there is talk of it happening this weekend (not by me I might add ;) )

Plus the outside lights need putting up, so someone (again not me) is going to be very busy, as I've said sod it I don't want them up this year but have been out voted by Steve and Benji (the dog), who only wants the little conifers putting round the front with light on them, so he can pi55 all over them every time he goes out!

Like I said before.... roll on 2nd January!

I finish work on Christmas Eve evening, which I was expecting all year to do and it doesn't bother me. We don't bother with decorations, just maybe put any cards on the mantelpiece.

I do like Christmas time, but unless it's time for another celebration like a birth or a sad time, such as a death, Christmas for me is all about kids having a fun time. I use to love it as a kid and young adult, now it's just nice to have a few days off work and an excuse to eat and drink loads.

As for roll on New Year, no thanks, January and February are the most depressing months of the year IMO.

I work for myself, so today was my last day until Jan 4th.  :cute:

Only trouble is I don't earn anything when not working.  :nah:

Still there are more important things than money, my grandson is happy I'm home

and my new puppy gets to bite me all day now.

Happy hols everyone!  :cocktail:  :present:

Choose the pic (file) and attach it to the post :)

Edit as I replied to your post before I saw that Alex had replied :)
