Hello all - new member so please be gentle!

I played club/casino machines from 1992 till about 2005, with financial successes (and the odd nightmare!) on Blackjack Club, Temptation Club, Pharaoh's Gold (and all it's incarnations), Super Blackjack Club (my favourite) Grand Slam etc.

Now, when Casinos were allowed to have £1000 jackpot machines (October 1998) obviously there was £1000 Grand Slam (what a brilliant machine that was) and ANOTHER MAIN ONE, which for the life of me I can't remember*

In most of the London casinos, there were 2 Grand Slams and two of these other machines.

I seem to remember a 'race-track' like thing in the middle (like cops n robbers) and a money thing that went up the left hand side and to the top right (maybe). I think it was a Bell-Fruit.

Please put me out of my misery!!! (oh and is there an emulator for it?)

Many thanks

*What I do remember however was that there was a bug in the software, which enabled multiple jackpots to come out, which of course I capitalized on, until about 4 nights later when I found all the machines switched off! (and then of course the ROM was updated to prevent this)

Hi and welcome to fruit-emu. Due to me being on mobile phonbe the names of the fruits could be wrong. There is £1000jp clubbers emu'ed on here.
red hot six a bit like grand slam, the one you're talking about sounds like club hot dog a 1000er with an inner feature board and feature n cash stacks, not sure if its available on here or over at dadsfme. Then there's club viva rock vegas, big top I,ve only got the 500 version of this but I,m sre there,s a grand version, maybe someone can link it up, plus there is others, I hope this helps.
The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.

I found it!!!

OMG, I can now sleep.

It's MONEY TO BURN (£1000)

The first version EPROM had a bug which enabled multiple jackpots - there were about 4 Casinos in London which all had TWO of these machines. Even playing surreptitiously, they only lasted about 4 days before they were rechipped, but not before I'd got about £16,000 out of them. COME ON!!!!!!

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.

Daryl, thank you for the links - CMTB is a great release. £1000 GrandSlam brings back to happy & profitable memories too. (the release graphics could do with some tarting up tho  :D   )

Mabby2000 - The DAY the £1000 machines came out, my friend and I went to play the big jackpot machines. He was on Grand Slam as he was an expert (on the smaller versions) and I played CMTB (obviously with the 1st version of the chip) trying to suss out gameplay.

I worked out that by going around the central feature course, when you got nudges, you could manipulate (nudge) the bells to the win-line (depending upon the combination of the reels at the start of the feature - if the bells were too far away, it would be impossible because the coins would come in and take you the big feature run)

Just about every casino in London had 2 of these and I just went round a few one night, then others the next so as not to take the p*** and draw attention to myself.

Like I say, by the 4th/5th night, I walked in to find them all off. Next time they were on, it was impossible to do the trick.

Do you have the very first ROM? Could it be incorporated into the Emulator? I'm getting nowhere with this one!! lol

Does anyone know what the very original ROMS were? And if they can be obtained pls?

Thanks :-)

Hey hitthesix

Thanks so much for providing these :-)

The ROMs that come with the DX version downloadable here are:-

95008009.LO

95008010.HI

(I think these are common in all versions)

95400897.lo

95400898.hi

The earliest ones your (kindly downloadable) folder are 95400949.lo and 95400950.hi

Does this mean that the ones in the downloadable version here are precursors?

Is it possible just to swap the ROMs within the folder?

Many thanks

PS I have ROMS for Blackjack Club 1.7, 1.9, 2.0 and 2.1 if they're not available here. I also have Superblackjack Club 1.0

the roms named 95008009.lo  95008010.hi  are the sound roms

and yes you can delte the roms (in layout folder) and replace them with the others, but you need to add the roms to the layout

anyhow

i have found an earlier set for you to try. check your p.m
