Mr P is also very well known to us over at MPU Mecca, and is a very active member.

Even sold him my old Barcrest Action Note some months back.

Well worth a visit to Gravesend, as crazybar will tell you :)

Cool I can get from gloucester to gravesend and back on 6 trians for just £33.50 return. Dont make sense because if you just get a ticket to london pad is £69.50 return at the same times as the trip to gravesend. So in future if I get train tickets I will look at more destinations along the route to see if I can get it cheaper lol

Yep, often is the case, split route ticketing is cheaper.

For me, Ironically it's cheaper for me to go via Nottingham / Grantham, and pop in to Kings Cross, rather than go direct from Long Eaton > St Pancrass, by about £10, and this is using the same split ticket idea.

Best way to do this, is split the journey's at sizable stations, like Leicester, Luton (For me), or try an alt route.

Another giggle I found on East Mids Trains..... for an extra £3, if I go on a Saturday, I can get a 1st class seat, full cooked breakfast, Parking, and a all zone underground card lol.

Things you learn, when you used to work for National Rail Enquiries :D

Don't I know it!

When the main UK site @ Derby got closed down, contract went out to tender again, and got split between Newcastle, Brighton, with the bulk going to Bangladore, India.

One thing made me wonder though, and that is the Welsh speaking number..... wonder if India could cope with that? lol

I can tell you it is well worth a visit. And also that I'm in Hull for a lot of the year! we could do a roadtrip one day, that would be proper good fun :-)

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

Hi

i have been to Mr P's as well and its wonderful arcade all the machines are in tip top condition, and if dave (Mr P) is in he is allways willing to chat old machines, thay are all on a good high percentage as well so a good game is on the cards. Not sure about the accomodation there as we were in London for the week and we just poped over there for the Morning. Mrs P (Amilia) is also willing to chat old machines as well

Regards

Cliff C
