i recently put this on another fruit machine chat board and thought i'd pop it on here too to see if anyone else could shed any light on this; basicly the mech is accepting the coins and routing them correctly but theyre not registering as credit, all the door switches are closed and ive checked the connector on the mech. it was working fine for a few weeks then yesterday started playing up again, has anyone had this problem or can advise me what could be wrong? thanks. its a mars ms111 accepter.

if the wiring is definitly ok then i'm afraid to say its quite an old coin mech so i would assume the mech has lost its memory or has just simply gone faulty.

not much you can do apart from source a replacement or send it away to a company that reprogrames coin mechs.(most companies now just send replacements rather that repairs)

cheers baz, i have had the machine for about 10-12 years so it has served me well, it only cost me £20 when i bought it so getting a replacement mech may be more than i paid for it!! so i may just sell it for spares/repairs and get me a newer machine, i have seen a few on e-bay and a company called advance leisure that seem reasonable.
