I was offered a joker poker for some £1200+vat which didnt exactly get me jumping in my seat, so when i saw one on ebay i bid and won it for £395. its mint condition.

My question is.. what the system for playing it ?? I`ve been told many years ago to go higher than 10`s and lower than 4`s, but is that it?

Just look out for the MARKED CARDS on the gamble -- I think there are about 4 of them (something like 2, 4, J & K)

When you are looking at the back of the card some have black marks on the white corners and some have the middle of the red square missing.... can't remember which are which

They only appear every so often --- play it often enough and you will see them (obviously they only appear on the gamble feature)

that sounds like the marked cards from an older poker game (cant rem the name but it was a token jp and sometimes showed you all the cards pre gamble for a second) was around a good five years before joker poker

Redhot poker maybe..I can remember marked cards being:-
2-blank square centre of card
3-cut out card bittom right
4-top r-hand side of card is marked
J-cut out down r-hand side in the middle
Q-small black dash bottom r-hand side
K-coloured in square top l-hand side

Joker Poker does not have marked cards but the Videostar version does:bigeyes16:

Mazooma's Jiggery Pokery had marked cards, the same as the BWB Big 40 poker and Red Hot Poker etc

I know this because I used to mark the card mechs in the factory for something to do when I got bored of coding ;-)
