Ok,

I saw a post a few days ago around an exec with a menu that allowed 45 games to be added - instead of 9 - can anyone point me in the right direction - i've been searching for the last hour or so and cant find it - also history wiped....

There was a particularly interesting section in there.

Thanks

So I see by your history that you've brought a machine but waiting for it to be delivered.

Why not wait for that to arrive before you start asking for things - what you are looking for ( although I've never heard of a 45 game menu ) might be already on it.

How many licensed games is on the machine you're buying - do you know what they are ?

It's a 40 game menu, it's called "T7VegasHybridPotsCommsSelScreen 1.2 (Build 3)". Well that's the one that is being shared, anyway.

There are three other 40 game menus, they are "T740RedGalaCategorisedSelectionScreen", "T7GalaUCruiseFullPromoHybridSelScreen", and "T7RedCPotsCommSelScreen".

Not all games will show up on the 40 game menu. Only ones specifically designed for it.

Also, for reference, the T8 has a multimenu theme, which is called "T8TabbedSingleHybridComms 1.9(Build30)".

Good luck getting any of those.

Reg: preparation so i have everything ready to go for when it gets here. games as it stands none you havent already got from what i can see :D in all the threads I've read from 2011 onward.  FYI its a mpu6 (tbc) with Rocky £2, Rainbow Pots £1, High 5 £1, Big Bucks £1, Golden Charms £1, Grand Casino £1, Mummy Money £1

Fruitnutter & Reg - thanks for the response's - particularly interested in your input from threads I have seen you seem to be the oracles along with fruitbash!

FruitNutter, do you have a link to the thread where it was initially discussed - there was some info in it I need to get a head start for when my machine arrives, from memory it was you or fruitbash who were after the menu exec, and in particular your response to why do you need it unless you have more than 9 games response.

Also - if you could confirm my understandings from reading so far it would be hugely appreciated:

General:
-Bpak - essentially game packs - get installed locally via USB.
-Executive version - secondary OS that sits atop windows to control the machine (seems responsible for menu)
-Barboot - (Unsure what this is yet - gets vague mentions, what does it do?)
-Cleardown loom for coin mech - if this doesnt come with the box - where can i obtain, prefer not to make my own!
-Support - Machine has now existed EOL (end of life) - as such is officially no longer supported by SG
-Demo mode - door has to be open, and note acceptor/coin acceptor doesn't work - effectively nullifying use as piggy bank for all accept licenced games.

Drive cloning:
-Is ALWAYS possible, regardless of drive type - spoof it or edit registry (varying success from non pro's on here, although no ones spoofed!

Encryption/Licencing:
-New licences: Now unavailable - historically obtained through SG gaming - as such leaves available games in demo mode only (thoretically if licence locked to machine - you dont buy any dongles/keys you see online) so no way to expand licenced game set
-Main encryption/licence repository on local box is HASP TIME HL (is this in the MPU6 or on the board - does anyone know the physical location?.

Thanks

found it....

"And I have well over 9 "paid" games now that I have unencrypted (MD5# and Triple DES encryption), uncompressed, reverse engineered, changed the "enable game" code and re-compiled the Game Exec (ge.exe) and all games are available in real money mode.

In the end it was as simple as adding a "NOP" command to the assembly code at the branch point of checking if a game had a licence in the hasp."

Sounds simple enough - so can anyone ping me the relevant exec to hold the games - if mine has anything of interest on once it arrives i will return the favor.

On a separate note - think I'm going to go to EAG today.

Looking back on that thread..... https://www.fruit-em...-machine/page-2

... and looking at the full post #28, it got my blood boiling again, that something which in his words was ....

In the end it was as simple as adding a "NOP" command to the assembly code at the branch point of checking if a game had a licence in the hasp

That he thought it was ok to then do what he did.

In one of your other posts you describe fruitnutter and fruitbash as being oracles!

These are one and the same person, along with codemaster and no doubt a few other alias's.

There are a few things a lot of people could call this 'person', but oracle isn't in that list.

Please don't ever pay him for anything, no matter how much you may want it.

You will be ripped off and taken for a ride, you've been warned.

Wouldn't ever pay removes all the fun!,software my livelihood, this is just another challange for me - I doubt i'll take the approach  mentioned unless nothing else works - there are thoretically far simpler ways with HASP - but will have to wait till machine arrives to see what is/isn't possible.

Unsure what will be on the box (part of the fun) - but 99% sure it won't be a 40 slot menu - saw the 40 game menu at EAG yesterday on a t777 - not for sale to public though!.  does anyone have it?.  Worst case i'll write my own (i've seen this done on 777 elsewhere with 75 games - so cant be overly complex)

Also, I just found out one of my friends used to be a software engineer for a manufacturer in london - as such he may be able to help also which will reduce TTL.

Still stand by my comment - sounds like fruit has skills, even if he hasn't used them in the friendliest of ways (although dont know what he did) - nothing wrong with making some cash for helping people.  That said i help for fun but draw the line at doing it for them....

Have fun!

Are you saying that you can make any demo game play in real mode?

Does anyone know how to install the 40 game menu?
