I've noticed on my friends club cops and robbers platinum, on the cash values on the right of the machine, there is an unlit value of £500. He currently has his jackpot set to £250, my question is was this machine ever capable of a £500 jackpot?

Hi if it's ghosted out then I'd say yes. Club bullseye is a very similar machine from a similar time... I've seen £500 decals for that one. I never tried it on £500 as I think you'd need to set up a duel hopper as the float would be too high for just one.

it can be changed from a b4 250 jackpot to a category b3 500 jackpot.

all a bit mute now as the new category b4 400 and 2 pound play is far more appealing to the average bollock do'er.

Yes it is ghosted out, but the machine dill switches and charts inside only allow up to £250 jackpot. My mate is happy with it being the way it is, I was just curious. Thanks for the replies.

Yes you need the hopper conversion kit, and the correct eproms to sit in the mainboard, otherwise the machine will not play £500 jackpot.
