its a massive shame to the emulation community including us, i use that site regularly to find un emlated roms especially dond machines and the like but there's still many other roms sites i'e coolroms for one.

best go find some more scorp5/4 roms to get

From a quick evaluation of the last 60 posts that doesn’t reflect the reality. Including dead celebrities and birthdays, just over one sixth of posts do not relate directly or closely to FME.

I use archive.org for my game/rom downloads.

It doesn't get updated a lot, but its got some good full sets.

I see this the other day whilst searching for console roms, I had seen prior that nintendo had filed lawsuits against sites/people hosting there roms so thought it was just them that were being pulled but it turns out it's everything.

I did a google search and there are a couple of other sites that look like mirrors of emu that still hosted the roms.

After posing this, I saw about Nintendo doing this.

But I can't see roms disappearing, there will always be available from sites and people into emulation will know where to go.

I'm not that fussed about any emulation other than FME TBH, I just dabble with other ones now and then, but normally bore of them quickly.

I think coolroms have got rid of Nintendo ones but the rest are still live, I wonder when the fruit machine manufacturers will start. At least members like geddy and co have archived many 1000s of ROMs for future usage!!!

Not wishing to tempt fate, but I can't see them bothering. This is such a small scene, that I doubt they would consider it having any effect on their business/profits.

I can actually see why Nintendo, are pissed off. Current hardware of theirs being emulated, plus hardware not that long ago also being emulated and emulated well enough, to perhaps put people off buying their hardware. Plus of course they now have seen there is a market for retro gaming, with their mini system releases, being very popular.

I think people have pushed Nintendo from many years of considering action to actually taking action.

I seen somewhere that nintendo are opening $100 million lawsuit and control of the domain.

Edit: on arcadepunks site, deals in retropie.
