Thankyou both Dad and wearecity and now ploggy for your help.
I still can't get what is happening here?
@jackpotjon have you played any other three player games within mfme5.1 try partytime.
As for the Ip address thingy as dad stated you only need to enter/find it once within the preference section of mfme once it's found it, CLOSE mfme then after a second re open it, then load up the layout files in ordet.
Personally throughout making/playing this layout I haven't experienced any problems with it except for the top box not spinning the first time now and again.
It's definitely due to not finding your IP Address that's why it's not connecting to top box, partytime will say no comms to master of this is the case.

Yeah.  MFME5.1 is the way to go on this one.  Make sure you click on 'Find'; in MFME5.1's preferences.  On all the units, and the top box as well.  It should say 'Started OK', when it's connected .  And also make sure the firewall isn't stopping access as well.  Could be another stumbling-block.

Still can't believe these three player machines are running on the PC.  Just goes to show what a marvel of technology MFME really is. :)

Great work on getting this done, Vecs.  Done a great job considering the resources you had to work from. :)

Thanks for the replies.

Loaded up mfme 5.1 and extracted it just as I would 5.0 and put it into my desktop, but now getting error message

The code execution cannot proceed because pacdrive.dll was not found?????

Loaded up win 7 and windows 7 as looks to be 2 separate mfme's to load but neither are working?

Should it load which one would you recommend I should use?

What is pacdrive.dll please and how do i install it?

Brilliant release once it's working but what a pain in the arse this game is!!!!

Didn't pacdrive.dll come with the original Mfme V5 release?  Version 5.1 update was just the .exe.  You just needed to overwrite the old mfme with the new one leaving all the other files intact.

You should already have pacdrive.dll on your PC, if you had MFME5.  Make sure the pacdrtive.dll file is in the same folder where the MFME5.1.exe is.  I've attached it for you, just in case you don't have it.  Just extract it from the zip file, then place it into the MFME folder on your PC.

Done exactly this, loaded top box...........waited for it to fully load, lights flashing etc.

Then loaded up 1/2/3 seperately, waited for each one to load first.

Got feature................free parking please wait.

This game is starting to get up my nose already and havent even started playing it yet.

Okay, I has this issue.  Modified Kaspersky to allow MFME to do whatever it wanted but still getting BUSY Free Parking.  Checked my network adaptors... Disabled my wired connection which I don't use at home and also an unused WIFI connection. One of them did the job as it then worked straight away.

Been using MFME for 20 years and I never saw stuff like this ever coming. Well done to all!!!

What's the highest top box streak so far?

Hi Vectra

These slots were basically clones of golden game.

Both had the same manipulations as one another and if the slots were not chipped they could be emptied multiple times.

Many ways to play them but the general rule was triggering a streak/empty by spinning in the feature after it nudging on the winline and holding.

You would then get a feature board paying you between £5-£15 each feature. Eventually it will pay you the jackpot on a feature and then you would take multiple £5 line wins and jackpot wins after the feature had paid the jackpot.

If the slot was not chipped you could repeat this method until it emptied.

If the slots were chipped then when a feature activated through the slot whistling several times-instead of the player nudging the feature manually, the slot would auto nudge the feature in. This then broke the streak cycle so the slot could not be manipulated.

At the time many of these and Golden games were been emptied up and down the country I knew nothing of the method/manipulation.

Only discovered this reading a forum on another fruity site around two years ago.

You can still win off the slots playing different methods.

In answer to what is someones biggest win I have had £125 off one streak but that was by taking a whistled extra nudge feature and it was on a Golden game not a Monopoly.

Still a lot of these around Vectra but mainly on 10p/£5 play and I would think all of them would be chipped units now.

Jay

Jay, does this work on the version emulated? When I played years ago I always heard about the emptiers after machines were chipped. As a general rule the roms we end up with for the emu are later versions so I can't try the old tricks.

There was a full on emptier on the first Golden Game machine via free win.  Ive tried all the versions we have but we don't seem to have the unchipped one unfortunately.

You can't go on the way these roms are labelled.   I don't know how these are sorted but it's not by revision.

Hi

Ive not really spent a lot of time on the emulated versions.-so unsure as to whether they are chipped or not.

I never knew of many if any cheats myself when they were full on circulating around the country.

That said I watched a friend many times nudging every win, flash, whistle etc and won on the slot every time.

So cheats/manipulations aside as long as the slot is ready to pay it's percentage it will pay out.

Fuzion what do you mean by a free win> do you mean like nudging in the x's fr example??

Jay
