I imagine they are just a specific profile for Quicksilver arcades?

They used have the same streaking profile as electrocoin but was chipped due to big payouts.

Same as the Nobles ones they have there name on some too. Just decal art no special program or deviation from other rip off machines they make. Probably the worlds most boring machine.

Boring or not would still be great to see this emulated.

Plenty of these in Coral Island Tommy ;)  ;)

Yeah would be nice to see all these emulated. All machines are there to make money at the end of the day, everyone knows they are a mugs game.

Think they are just a re-glass. There were quite a few roms for these bar x 7 type machines.

A local quicksilver had about 6 in line all at around 88% but there was one that was a nasty profile for sure.

How it made its percentage was questionable as once i ploughed £139 for the 1st tenner XXX then after

rowing for a couple hours was £200+ lost :(

Those Concept chips are unreal. Just playing via emulation is enough to make me go nowhere near one.

Agreed!  They seem quite severe.

Saying that, not sure how much they've had through them. Maybe they need a lot of play before they settle down. Just seem a little tight.

The Quicksilver edition was the lovely special chip which went on the "silent roll".  Used to be run on 92%, not sure what they're set to these days, probably lower.

Could only start from the first pound and first credit after sitting idle for a at least a few minutes.  The reel stop sounds would go AWOL and every single spin would be a win.  If the machine was refilled with a key, it could carry on.  I've witnessed £500+ streaks on these.

Yeah, seen that streak. I can't imagine how bad it played after such a streak. Maybe why they changed the software in the end.

These are now only running on 86% (will this one was)???? Anyways the machine was backing and yes i know that sometime doesn't make a difference but on the Electrocoins roms you was almost guaranteed a streak but not on this thing put £80 in got £100ish back.

And the other thing i played on was  Electrocoins Bar X Diamond £35/30p 80% average payout, this too was backing up put £180 in and come off with £320 yet only nudged in 1x jackpot and it hold.

I have this program in my classic bar x 7 it wasn't specially made for quicksilver, nobles also had same program. It was a standard release witj classic magic 10.

Still a shame for now it's a none runner in emulation.

Hopefully it will be possible in time.

Ive witnessed the streaks mentioned but have also seen and (sadly been part of) them taking 100's too.

The recent concept games Dad and Reg emulated ive seen them on £1 play £100 jackpot! -Deadlier than the deadly dessert in Oz :err:  :err:

A guy I knew ploughed the best part of a grand in one and had but one jackpot!

They are very much a marmite slot(You love em or hate them) Yet up and down the country from coast to coast arcade owners are revamping the games and ive come across a fare few arcades where the slots are set at 10p/20p play with the same £25 program.

And they give a real good game too.

Was an arcade close to Newcastle that had rows of them 10p/£25   X's-£10  bars-£15 and 7's-£25.

They were so popular and were set at a staggering 86% payout.

86% is disgustingly low for this game.   Used to have them on 94% in Shaws back in the day.

Yeah but at 10p/20p play they gota be making something.

Seen some of the 30p ones set at 74% and lower.

I played a 10p play £5 jackpot Golden Game set at 72%, these lo-tech games aren't designed for this %.

Shocking J

A nearby amusements  was always tampering with percentages in the late 80's/90's ,especially party times.

Reels would spin on the top board bring in a jackpot and not register the win :nah:  :err:

They were regularly getting fined by the gaming board but to them it was like giving away pennies as they were making millions,at the time.
