#234199 biggest loss on a fruity

Posted by nails on 23 May 2012 - 07:41 PM in Real Fruit Machines

About £400 in club cops and robbers in one day, was in the club for 6 hours, until they kicked me out when it closed.

I was the first one in the morning to get in, straight back on the machine, got JP and then cashpot all in the first 2 hours, left £200 down on the 2 days.

Got home and then lost my girlfriend that day after I forgot to pick her up the night before, so in the end losing £200 and a girlfriend in 24hrs was quite bad....

think of the money you saved long term...

#234332 Recovering A File From Recycle Bin

Posted by nails on 25 May 2012 - 08:52 PM in Any Topic Chat

basically the operating system deletes a link to the file only, and not the actual file. if you ever delete a file by mistake you need to do the following -

1. dont boot from that HD anymore
2. boot from a new operating system/HD and then use a recovery program on the OLD hd you wish to ressurect.

Booting from the drive in question came make the file corrupt beyond control. windows doesnt recognise after deleteion where the file is. since another files could be defragmented over thousands of places/many fragments, only 1 fragment onthat existing file cane make it obscelete. to get an idea, run a program like asuslogig diskdefrag and look how flawed the windows operation system is.

#234712 Ladbrokes Thai Flowers - Is This A Piss Take ?

Posted by nails on 02 June 2012 - 07:23 AM in Real Fruit Machines

aparently all fruit machines are illegal because they are classed as gambling machines but they are not random like other forms of gambling , i doubt that is true but anyway the point is unless your the "lucky guy" who happens to play the fruity on the right minute of the right hour on the right day then there all piss takers imo =) thats why the only fruitys i play are the ones here ,my love affair ended a good few years ago now and cant say i miss the little blighters much but when i do i just play an emulator lot cheaper ;)

i vote for a `shit meter` the more utter shit pepole come out with, the more your meter goes up until your banned from posting. you my friend are about to burst your meter.

#234714 Ladbrokes Thai Flowers - Is This A Piss Take ?

Posted by nails on 02 June 2012 - 07:25 AM in Real Fruit Machines

I do believe this has been discussed before. These machines are not stand alone machine, like the ones found in your local pub or club that hopefully pay a decent percentage back to Joe Public.
They are more like the National Lottery... it doesn't matter how many millions have been spent in a particular outlet it doesn't gaurantee that a winning ticket will be sold. Like wise you could pump a grand into the gaming machine in the bookies and someone hundreds of miles away reaps the rewards.

utter shit, they are all stand alone - the RNG is remote unless of comms fault to which the epson unit has a RNG built in, failing that then the terminals now have the ability to work alone providing they boot on the network.

you just got a tick on your shit meter...

#234804 What A Week - Up Over £2K

Posted by nails on 03 June 2012 - 10:22 PM in Any Topic Chat

i wont bother with the losses over the years, but want to share my fantastic week -

monday - went to eastbourne and the guy i went to meet didt show, £60 quid in my pocket has to last 10 days... £10 in RR (ladbrokes) 5 leps give me £500, few roulette spins+300 = £800
tuesday - £300 in the roulette and takes out £500
wednesday - got drunk at casino, 200 in, win 230, do a stupid `last spin` and 29 comes up - with £22.50 on it!!!! casho out £1,180 (980 profit)
thursday 100 profit from roulette
friday - 300 roulette loss , 100 in RR and it drops the 500 pot
saturday 800 in roulette and on the last spin(s) walk out with 950.

minus the 60 quid thats a 2270 profit.

whilst we all want to win money, i practically had no pot to piss in so this week of wins has been fantasitc and indeed needed. rent sorted, holiday sorted, new computer ordered, new designer jeans ordered, plants for fish tank, new dvd player and still money to spare. be buggered if im getting it back!

brag - no, just genuine thankful for my win.

#235045 Will Fruit Machine Fade In The Sun Light?

Posted by nails on 08 June 2012 - 09:27 PM in Real Fruit Machines

the biggest problem with machines in the sun is that you cannot see what the hell is lit.

#235061 Bad Percentage?

Posted by nails on 09 June 2012 - 06:20 AM in Real Fruit Machines

an extreme/barcrest clone wont take hundreds to settle, where as a DOND would. totally different programs.

try playing it all out and accepting no wins and got for the JP.

#235343 £1 Stake Emu

Posted by nails on 14 June 2012 - 04:05 PM in General FME Discussion

just to clarify the thread, there are no layouts at present that can handle the £1 stake, but thats not to say they couldnt be available in the future. the most likely route is an amber update, but at this moment in time i believe guitar is concentrating on a much older tech.

leave wizard an email.

#235562 Are These Forthcoming Releases Forthcoming

Posted by nails on 18 June 2012 - 06:30 PM in General FME Discussion

theres nothing wrong with airing your views (just be prepared for public flaming!) MFME as is i guess is nearly ROM'ed and Dx'ed to almost completion - given the huge amount already done to what is left. Amber seems to have made an artificial light at the end of a very long tunnel - though im not exactly sure in terms of layouts what it can and cannot do.

Wizard once said (or words to the affect of) he would give time for Amber to settle on before he releases his own update. that said, the mame debarcle happened right in the middle of it so im not sure how it stands.

what we do have are roms to be found, Artwork to be done and Amber to be gripped.

the futures not exactly bright - but it could be amber for now?

similar problem in the betting shops, anyone and everyone hates the virtual racing and yet they make more and more races - portman part, steeple downs, wigham field and then the greyhound racing

the industry has created a monster.
