Hey guys.. Just thought I'd share the news that my fobt 20p Roulette is available on Google play.

There are no in app purchases, it doesn't cost anything to play, is completely phone data friendly and does nothing online.

The app contains a button to watch an advert to regain another 2000 credits (£20 equivalent). You have unlimited use of this button and shows a short 20 second or so advert. It's free for you completely and brings in some revenue to help fund the future fobt app simulator.

I have built this game to play the same as the betfred/William Hill roulette made by inspired gaming.
It has the same gameplay, chips and roulette wheel ball position if you know what I'm talking about. Ka

I havent used any copyrighted images or sounds etc, everything is homebrew.

The menu has a note acceptor and a ticket payout system which pays out winnings to your wallet.

Awesome, thank guys. Yes i have made a lot of images, but also purchased a lot of vectors online and mixed them up.

Cleopatra2 are sprites from the original online slot (but whole game is completely redundant online, so ive used the original whilst testing and will change them slightly when due to release.)

Hey guys.

Been busy with a new development lately in the form of a New Slots App Development.

It is only available on Android (Google Play) at the moment.

Its a Social Slots Experience with a number of different slot machines as well as a loadty is in production.

Im not the most experienced coder, and my Graphics Design needs work, however I believe im at a point where i need people to start testing the Algorithms and what-not as the BackBone of the software is pretty much where i want it to be for Alpha Testing.

Much more work is needed before i even think of releasing it for general release, however i would appreciate it if anyone would like to playtest the system and see where we are in regards to connectivity, Linked Progressives, Gameplay, RTP, Bonus's as well as testing the back end system to ensure i can see how your stats look and what your RTP is etc.

The App seems very stable, however bugs are still present, some games are better than others, and some games could break with an update.. however normally these things can be fixed within hours and a new update will rollout straight away.

There are testing opportunities for code written feature games, for example, A deal or no deal feature is available at the moment, hand written by myself, but graphics are more than basic and it would be the functionality i would need confirmation on.

Basically, I would love a fresh set of eyes, with critisism, suggestions, ideas, anything (and i can take critisism so please dont worry about offending).

I have given myself a Year to Release this app and im now just starting month 5.. So still loads of time to change anything or add suggestions.

I will be eternally grateful for anyone wishing to help test this.. I will even add a special thanks page and include you in there if you wish when it is released.

 

The aim is to be the best app available for players, not greedy, not expensive to play and fun.

I have no overheads so I would rather receive 5% of what say wizard of oz slots made by zynga makes than 100% of nothing.

Ive got two plans with this and were almost there...

I have uploaded my beta release to the google play store but needs to go through verificiation....

 

..... If it gets verified, that is.

 

If it doesnt get verified because of its contents, i will be releasing the APK on a pay per download site (of some description)..

It will be cheap, like £1.00-£3 ish, and the funds will go towards future development and hosting costs etc, I hope you understand as i dont have any kind of webbased community to help fund this project. it will also contain a few ad banners (SORRY : ( )

If the ad banners pay for whats needed, i will then look at releasing in in places that are free (Cydia type store)

Anyway,

Just did some reading online about some of the legalities involved in this and I am correct that if content is copyright protected, but freely available on the internet, I can link to the copyrighted items without fear of copyright theft. Its is freely available and not behind any paywalls or whatever so should be fine.
I may look into changing the servers Im running on though and leave sg out of the loop altogether..

Thanks reg, i will keep that in mind, albeit they allow all kinds of gambling apps nowadays. I will have to read their ts and cs.

I have successfully ported this to an app.

It will be available on android at the moment (im an iphone person so not ideal for me, sorry if you dont have android).. but its running on a samsung s4 so if you really want to play this, you can pick up a cheap android unit easily enough.

 

Im going to try and get it on google play. 

 

I have a debug list as long as my arm, so there will be a delay before this is sent off for submission.

Im not sure if i will be having playtesters just yet, but a bit closer to release, I will be looking for playtesters that i can send the apk to..

Unfortunately not. Although it plays the same as it would do any other time, whether fobt or online for real money for example.
To be fair, and no disrespect to anyone, but I see a game in demo mode almost the same as the emulator running the fruit machines. The difference being the gameplay, but still fake money winning fake money.

The thing with this is its built in with the arduino. Without the buttons (menu, start etc) the thing is rather hard to use to navigate. Its designed as full screen and as soon as you go in one game, its hard to come out again without mouse and keyboard which takes the effect away. Im looking at different cabs and touchscreen and will be looking at selling complete units with working buttons etc.

Given it another new look.. I think its looking snazzy.

Thats the trouble with these games and why theyre so addictive. I managed to go from the start value of £10000 and get it up to £12000 (£2000 profit), because a long string of good numbers.. followed by a load of duff numbers resulting in losing the profit and if that was real life I know Id be trying to chase the profit and lose even more. These fobt machines in real life are pure evil.

Yep its the same programme. Works great on touch screen its a bitch getting it to work full screen though lol

The reason Ive used the urls directly is that it then plays full screen automatically without all the crappy adverts etc.. to make it feel more authentic. (Straight into playable game, straight back to menu etc) Tbh anyone can go to these websites and play the games but I wanted to make the terminal feel like the real thing as much as possible.
I cant see any harm in it.. there are loads of sites hosting these games, however they are just input into the website with ads for the real play casinos etc.
Ive been looking into pricing. I can make these, use prebuilt cabinets from a supplier I have, bulk buy a load of 21 touch screen, add the arduino, wiring, artwork etc and be able to offer them around the £400 mark. Dont know if this would be too much, but I havent got the man power to build these in huge bulk so would have to be priced so as well.

I would love to get my hands on a load of pachislo cabinets. Then I could go whole hog on them

Im thinking about hosting the script on a website that people can just click and full screen it.. however Im not sure on the implications as Im sure you have to buy a license from the manufacturers to host demo games, and all Im doing is kinda hikacking the urls :S
