Havent been on this site for ages, love it that people are still building cabinets. Touch screen is a cool idea.

1 thing Id advise when building a cabinet when putting in a monitor vertically is to look at your monitor from left to right when its mounted vertically before installing it. I bought a cheap new monitor and mounted it in my cab. It seems when I look at it from the left its brighter than when I look at it from the right 😂
Also make a pacdrive template. Thats saved me tonnes of time

I think in time i will make another one but with a curved screen. I have a homers meltdown machine in my garage thats gathering dust just waiting for a conversion.

Mines similar to wizards. I just couldnt let go of my Indy jpm cab. Ive given it a nice paint job and added 2 buttons at the sides for pinball emulators but never got round to figuring those programs out.

What you guys using as a front end? Haven’t been around for an age but loving the enthusiasm on these cabinets.

I have multi coloured leds up the side of my cabinet which is great for linking the colours up to things like nudges, reel blasts, cash etc.

Also for some people worrying about mounting there monitors, I Velcro’s all around the bezel of mine.

Oh another tip, if you put bumper buttons on the sides you can upload pinball emulations to.

I think the YouTube videos are a great idea, could teach some of the younger people on these sites methods of play so they can enjoy the older machines. I started playing in the early 1990's so this to me was the best time. All the jpm's that were in the rollercoaster cabinet were amazing. Monopoly, Indy jones, money talks, big bucks etc.... (big bucks had tons of secrets lol)

There where sooo many cheats/methods back then. Crikey there is literally tons of vids you could do.

Haven't watched vids all the way through but I have subscribed good luck

Cheers Andy
