Fruit machine going free

20 April 2020 - 08:07 PM

Hi All,

Had a shout from my uncle - he's been offered this fruity for nothing (pic attached).

Looks like we already have it on the emulator but it is apparently fully working so might be available for pickup in South London if anyone is interested.

Cheers,

Magz :)

Question about networking for modern fruits / arcade machines

06 September 2018 - 11:59 AM

Hi All,

I'm hoping that someone can assist me with a quick question about modern fruities and their connections to the Internet.

As I understand it, FOBT / £500 jackpot machines prefer/require Internet connectivity to function properly. I think this is also the case with the latest arcade machines as well and maybe even the CATC (D?) too?

Assuming I am correct, do they require / prefer to have a wired connection or are they all wireless?

Also, is there information about the amount of bandwidth / low latency that they require?

Thanks in advance,

Magz :)

PDC World Darts 2018

29 December 2017 - 08:40 PM

Is it just me, or is this years PDC darts one of the best tournaments (so far) ever?

Not just because it's Phil's last outing, but the standard and close games have been great to watch!

Getting your IP address into MFME correctly

20 November 2016 - 12:49 PM

Hi All,

I noticed that some people have had issues getting their IP address into MFME correctly in order to run the multiplayer machines.

To assist with this I have created a couple of batch files to automate that process.

As IP is handled slightly differently in Windows 7 than 8 and later there is a different file for each version in the .zip.

To get this to work you will need to:

Open the .zip file.

Drag the appropriate file to your desktop (Win 8 will also work in Win10).

Run it.

If you get an error from smartscreen, right click the file on your desktop, go to properties and click unblock then OK.

Once run the script will set your IP address correctly in MFME.

Notes:

If your computer has more than 1 network connection then the script will pick the first from the list. Frankly if this is an issue then you're likely know how to add your IP yourself anyway.

You need to restart MFME if it was running when you ran the script.

Finally...

These scripts are provided "as is". I accept no responsibility for any issues, damages or other losses as a result of you using these scripts on your PC. Please use them at your own risk.

Cheers,

Magz.
