Not sure why this landed at my doorstep and I'm totally confused what it has to do with me.  I know I should not post PMs but on this occasion I'm going to.  I got this from richy1976 (who Reg is convinced is slotsrus and is banned from all other FME sites but here because our illustrious leader is AWOL.)

Somehow i have been messaged a virgin utility bill from 6 months ago by a member, that can only have been obtained by accessing my email account.

Which just so happens to have the same password as my fruit accounts.

Which can only be obtained by admin\mod.

If i find out this utility bill, that contains name, old address, part bank details, virgin account numbers etc, is on public display on any of these sites, the police will be informed, so inform your cronies.

So basically I have no f*****g idea what he is going on about apart from a stretch he is trying to shake off the blame for the DVDs.  I mentioned this to Reg and DAD in case they knew something more than me and could shed some light on the subject.  I ignored the PM because basically I do not give a shit and unless I know who sent richy1976 this 'evidence' as I have no reason to believe his story or want to help him out.

 

Been having a tough time at home recently with the passing of the father in law and not being able to attend the funeral, this has taken a lot out of my family and thus I started to convert all the layouts to .fml - it gave me something to aim for and focus my mind then this lands on my plate.  I'm not sure why me (anyone else?) or what I'm supposed to do with it but I can do without being threatened especially with what is going on at home ATM.

 

Came back from my first fishing outing since lock down, I blanked haha and login into FE to find two more PMs, with more threats towards Reg and DIF... 

 

Can anyone shed any light on this or know how 'this how a random nobody of a member has sent me it.'  <---- the 'evidence' to richy1976???

Well DIF has done nothing but ban him back in August last year and posted the reasons why he was banned.

 

The interesting thing is - Richy never got mentioned when he was banned by name.  He never even got a Banned banner, I did not want to draw lines to his name so to speak as I know he is already close with certain members on this site ( and who are still on DIF ).

 

He also have never once tried to contact me in now, what nine months since the ban.

 

He has never even tried to use a member who was a go between on both sites to reach out.

 

If he thinks think DIF has done anything wrong - bring the police as he is sending threats to Geddy.

 

What I have on my side which their people will be very interested in - is a chain of events that can be proven with backed up data.  From a forensic point of view, we call this chain of custody.  The forensic investigator will not follow what you or I tell them, they will follow the data.

 

I have backups as well and I suspect my host does so this false assucation can be disproved across many levels.

 

So from what he is saying, he is also talking about a password that can only be obtained by a admin / mod.

 

1. Moderators at least on my site can't.

2. I am the only Admin on the site.

 

This means Richy, you are accusing my of doing something that I have not done if I read what Geddy is posting correctly above.

Well unless he mentions who passed him the utility bill then 'we' can't help.  Surely the person who has the utility bill 'hacked' his accounts... I think it's just a ploy (a shit one) to clear his name and get back on DIF so he can pass the newer goodies to his eBay chums..

Actually - what he needs to do is this.

 

Go to his email provider and if he has a date of when something was accessed, that was the last date it could have happened.  The very same technique I used to track down who was modifying layouts - all about access and access control.

 

So, he was banned from DIF on August 17th last year, that is the start point of concern if he really believes DIF did anything.

 

You then take that August date which is the southbound date and with whatever bill has been seen, that is the northbound date.

 

Reach out to the email provider and ask for a list of all IP's that access that account.

 

They will have the details as I have all the details of what has gone on at DIF.

 

He should also know this before he makes a complete fool of himself, forum passwords are hashed by a one-way hash when storying passwords which means that there is no way to know the plain text version. ( https://invisioncomm...ncements-r1181/ )

 

I am 100% certain ( although I've looked and got logs that will prove in a court of law that DIF is no guilty ) that this is a user error somewhere else and he is simply reaching out blaming who he can.

Would it help if he put his 'hacked' email into haveibeenpwned.com?

I'm sure that website would tell him if someone has 'hacked' his account.

I'm not good with things like this but its worth giving it a try.

It's easy to blame a site that you were removed from.

That date I have quoted this post now - as it completely tears a hole in your arguement as you say it happened on 12/12/2019. 

 

That literally would have been impossible to have happened at DIF that your account was compromised - so you really need to be looking elsewhere.   This absolutely cannot have happened from DIF.

 

Also - remember all login attempts are logged as well that I have no control over.

 

Take my advice in the email where I told you to contact your email provider.  I have 100% logs on you - they will as well.
