Scorpion 6 is main reason why it not emulated as its to new and MfME only does up 2 SC5 atm i would wait about 2-4 years till SC6 can be emulated

It's not because it's too new, as I have already said countless times it's because the ROM's are encrypted.

Well from the post below, you have around 2 to 4 years to crack the encryption mate .....   :biglaugh:

Looks like Lee Evans got to emulate Queen Bohemian Rhapsody long before everyone else here.

I remember seeing him @20 years ago as a support act to Jack Dee performing this.

Never mind 6, we haven't any Pluto 5 layouts have we?  It does that.  Has anyone tried to do a p5 layout?

Thanks,

Astras Vegas Nights Top Box is running Pluto5 and Club Temptation also works.

The ones that don't probably use a different FPGA for security and it's pretty time consuming working them out as the IO mappings are different

My favourite Astra game is Solid Gold, the early software ;)    I believe it runs on Pluto6, the software is on a flashcard.

Were there a lot of MPU6 machines released?  When was MPU6 released?

I believe it was around late 2008 - early 2009, A lot of machines that got £35 - £70 upgrades had both MPU5/6 versions while £70 only versions were strictly MPU6. It's Amazing being in the initial wave shortly before release of the £70 Jackpots has MPU5/6 versions, with the likes of Pacman being MPU6 only.

Count Ya Cash is an oddity that it's a £70 Jackpot only but has both a MPU5/6 release! Given it uses the newer "standards" at the time i can only imagine it was a test bed to see how MPU5 coped with it all.
