Does anyone have copies of these? Grabbed the INDE, Paragon & ITBOX sets from Arcadepunks but these games aren't in any of them, Cheers.

I have them on my PC somewhere, they were available on the Repo years ago. Aladdin has done a fantastic job over on Arcadepunks putting together a working list and writing a new emulator that allows more games to run and the many games he has fixed.

I'm posting on behalf of Matty at this time.

Mods, please REMOVE the files uploaded; They contain a very nasty virus

Virus/win32/Neshta.A

I am replying due to the fact Matty cannot, as his browsers have been compromised, along with several other files.

Exclaret, Matty is giving you the benefit of the doubt here, and that this incident was not malicious......But PLEASE scan your system ASAP. It appears riddled with malware.

Apologies for the double post, but I should make it clear, Members, DO NOT download these files.

That's scary stuff-can't the thread be locked or the thread be removed?

There's no way on this earth I would consciously infect someone's files, Matty I apologise for any grief I have caused you and hope it doesn't take to long to repair any infected files.

How these files have got infected is strange, I don't use them on my PC as very few run on win 10 they are only here as backup for my touchpad. Could zipping the folders infect them?

Apologies again to anyone I have pissed off it was never my intention.

Looks like I have some work to do.

It's done a number on every single exe file on the PC and had a f*** about in the registry but i was due a reinstall anyway so this has forced my hand.

I'll take some blame. It popped up with a virus warning as soon as I unzipped them but ignored it as a false positive.

For anyone interested the virus is in Crazybars post above. Thank you to BJ for removing the files and no Ill feelings towards you exclaret.

Just doing a scan on my external drives that were plugged in at the time then I'll get the fun task of reinstalling everything underway

I feel terrible mate, that is a nasty piece of work if it's wrecked all your exe files. I've scanned all my drives and  I only found one infection and that was on a ' Band of Gold ' fruit machine simulator.

Thanks for your comment about no ill feelings I appreciate that but I'm still gutted for you.

On every swp game I have had or ever had, Norton picks up a false positive on all the exe files on the games. When unzipping them I have to pause Norton or it will delete said files.
I cannot remember the file name, will get it later if necessary but it is the same one Norton questioned years ago also.

Hopefully you'll be back up and running properly soon.

Even MFME over the years has given a false positive, v1.1 still does now when I back up my FME folders. As Mavroz says, nearly all these quiz files have over the years, for me as well. Probably to do with the networking features on the quizzers.

WS.Reputation.1 (Presence) is the threat Norton brings up.

Annoyingly, i have to disable auto protect when unzipping or else it deletes the .exe .
