File Name: Rockstar - Games Media (Classic)

File Submitter: Matty.N

File Submitted: 09 Nov 2016

File Category: Epoch

Here's a fun machine from our friends at Global Games Media, based as a Cat D version of Jackpots that Rock & Roll & clones it has it's moments but can streak big on the Rockstar feature.

Using the wrong reels on this as the originals aren't available, the same will be on it's bigger brothers Jackpots that Rock & Roll & Bank Job until some more suitable reels are available. So if any of you out there own a Games Media, Cool Games, Betcom or later Global then please help us get some reel scans sorted. Worth noting the meters are set as they are as when the machine is low on coins the transfer button will activate, even enabling a note acceptor only allows it to give chance.

Keys are the usual, Big Shot on S, Cash Pot on P and Bonus on B
Thanks to No1Stoney for Play testing

Jackpots That Rock & Roll and Bank Job coming soon ™

Downloaded this, without looking and upon loading, 10p £5, oh no.

But I was wrong, I actually have put more time into this than quite a few of the releases for v5 so far. Not sure why, IRL, I hate when you can't tell what the features are by their names, but on emulation, it's fun to take them all and try them out, particularly if they are red. I do like machines, with different layers of boards, even though, this has a particularly nasty, move out, move out and the move out on to question mark squares.

Never played the machine before, but looking at the video of it on youtube, I assume crazybar 777 is a member here, you have superbly captured the layout of the machine.

Not bad sounds on it either.

Glad to see you're enjoying it, at times in can feel like nails on a chalkboard but a nice payout is usually just around the corner when that happens. Dead boards can give a bit of play time too as opposed to the 2 moves dead (although this can do that in a happy state oddly). Rolling a 1 to the Move out, move out, Bonus is a trick it has up it's sleeve which I hate as 9/10 it will then roll the 9 to stick you on the game over, a habit that carried on with all the clones that came after it.

The layout i'm quite pleased with, the pay table is a bit iffy in my opinion but I do like to stick to the original layout even if it does compromise the aesthetics a bit. Crazybar is a member here although due to being a teacher on the other side of the world he has very little time to visit any more, although i do suspect when he has some time off he'll have a good many hour to plough in & catch up.

£35, won't switch to anything else, seems to be hard coded to them as even setting £35 in the config throws a stake error.

Edit: Looking in the debugger it even says 35 50p issue :(
