IIUC the £2 limit is per play so for roulette it'd be a £2 total stake. Good thing this - and I think that the bill also allows for upcoming legislation for online.
This is, I think, a sign that the attitudes to gambling are changing in government (as they are in society) in a similar way to smoking. Used to be tolerated and applauded in some ways for the revenue - now seen as a menace that causes a lot more harm than the revenue warrants.
It now tries to find your IP address every time MFME starts up ( Win7 version), if it's not picking the correct one enter it manually and click the static checkbox to prevent it from being changed.
The best solution is to add a loop back interface to your comms adaptors in the control panel and give it a static address like 10.11.12.13 and then enter that in the box and click static. There is a thread explaining this on here somewhere.
As MFME 3.2 was around for ages and ages, a lot of the machines are listed under that version. They'll run fine in 5.1, and after it converts them to the new file format, they'll likely run in 6. There is no need to run any of the other versions - they are there largely for legacy purposes...
