#318980 New Roms

Posted by Mavroz on 01 July 2018 - 01:50 AM

getting their now have un used input error 90.D / 47

This is the hard part of MFME, making a layout from scratch.

This is where you have to work out the configuration of the machine, which hopper it uses, whether or not it has sec meters, which reels etc etc etc.

Work it out, this is how layouts are started.

#318934 Machine not connected to top box... What would you do?

Posted by Mavroz on 30 June 2018 - 09:19 AM

How did the original post turn out? Was any money returned? Have lessons been learned? Was there any laughing and scoffing? Has the Arcade been closed due to showing wrong % payouts?

There doesn't seem to be any progress report......

I reckon they will laugh at you if you ask for your money back.
I doubt they will show you the machine on test mode, why would they? If you are doubtful of their practices, why did you go there and waste £200 in the first place?
Learn a lesson, cut your losses, stop complaining the arcade fleeced you and move on. Even better don't play any machines as there is only ever one winner.

#318729 2 Years Until FOBT Stakes are lowered!

Posted by Mavroz on 19 June 2018 - 02:04 PM

It is just how pathetic and long winded the Govt are . Take Brexit for example.

It may be pushed through sooner as i am sure i have read or heard that the timescale is being challenged.

We will see. Sooner the better.

#318602 Fruit machine techs

Posted by Mavroz on 11 June 2018 - 04:24 PM

There are reel based machines, physical reels that spin and there are video based machines where reels spin on the screen like MFME uses.

FOBT is a video slot also, just with bigger stakes and offers games such as casino roulette online betting. - Think i am right with this one.

Most techs used Video screens one time or another, well they did from around the Mpu4 time for SWP (Skill) games.

Some newer techs also used RTV - Reel to video where physical reels spin etc but the feature board will be partially or fully on a video screen (Lcd display)

Hope this helps.

Pretty sure i mentioned it is dip 4 that makes the jackpot jingle play in attract mode when you asked. It takes a while to activate.

#318125 New MOT Diesel Emissions

Not to mention the talked about taxation to enter city centres with diesel cars.

Not sure what they will do about busses and wagons that spew smoke out of them when they set off from a standing start.

#318097 re FOBT'S

All awp machines not in clubs should be £50 ish jackpot 20p to 50p a spin.

Club jackpots £200 ish.

Keep the playing fun and cheap how it used to be...

Sod the bookies, yes they will shut shops but hey ho, a few less bookies in the town centre, open more low jackpot arcades like it used to be.

Bookies should only have betting slips and coupons for sporting events.

How many family entertainment centres have closed through stupid jackpots, price of play and taxation?

Good on the government for addressing the problem that was spiralling out if control.

Just my opinion.

#317959 Oxo (Bar-X) roms

Posted by Mavroz on 16 May 2018 - 11:28 AM

Still pisses you off on every forum, continually asking for things that aren't available.
As I said search and if nothing turns up then take it the game isn't emulated and isn't publically available.
People seem to be told things on one forum and the decide to jump on another forum and ask the same questions.
Some seem incapable of basic learning and understanding at times.....

has this machine been emulated yet?

Why do you always bang on about machines that are not in the downloads.

If they aren't there and nothing shows on Google, just take it as they aren't emulated.

They will be emulated as and when.

As said, if you are so desperate for these, test them, build a layout and then release it, help out occasionally insted of wanting continually.

#317905 sys80 help

Posted by Mavroz on 14 May 2018 - 02:59 PM

Then the rom probably isn't Sys80 or it is corrupt.

Even if the rom was corrupt you would expect something to show.

Work through the other techs and see if there is any sign of life in the debugger.

#317890 Jackpot and the Beanstreak dx

The number reel won't be the same as jolly Roger unless that had various golden egg values plus moves on it also.

I also think the sounds were from my machine.

Just the numbers on the reels have pink poxes around them, not for any purpose that i know.

The number reel has 2 different coloured lamps in it (red and white i think), used for the hi-low beanstreak trail.

There are 3 or 4  hidden lamps near the bonus button, extra life, repeat chance, hi-lo trail or something like that.

All the cash and feature lamps have a red option also.

Depending on the romset (possibly to do with note acceptor), the exchange/ take feature buttons may be the wrong way also.

good luck.
