Rich Geezer help

18 November 2009 - 12:57 AM

Hi. Just wondered if some of you could help with a little info.

Have acquired a bellfruit Rich Geezer fruit machine off a friend of a friend. I cheekily joked about how it was taking up so much room in their living room and how they should give it my friend. Well surprisingly it just turned up. Dont get if you dont ask I suppose.
But anyway for various reasons we cant contact the guy who gave it us. Well would prefer not to. But when he brought it round he only gave us two barrel style keys.

One opens the bottom hopper thing is it? The other goes in below the buttons and puts it in service mode? or something. There is another rectangular keyhole but we dont have that key.

If it is turned on without the service key it starts making loud noises and saying door open.
In service mode it has free play but it also seems to have perma holds so it is very easy to win.

Oh and I know very little about fruit machines as I dont really play them in pubs etc.

But I have looked around on the net but just cant find any info about the missing key and bellfruits spares section is customer only.
I would like at the least to get it working without the perma hold thing and maybe now and again set it up to be used properly with money at parties.

And I suppose in its current state it has very little re-sale value too.

Any info on what I can or cant do with it from someone more knowledgable would be appreciated. Is it worth ringing bellfruit up about it? Will it cost a lot to get it sorted?
