File Name: Around The World In 80 Days

File Submitter: wearecity

File Submitted: 13 Jan 2018

File Category: System 5

JPM's Around The World In 80 Days - System 5 tech, £6 Jackpot, 20p Play, 78%. Keyboard shortcuts are the usual.

Thanks to Ploggy for various, after my request if this machine could be emulated. Reelfruits and Reece and Am, for their youtube videos. To whoever supplied the roms for FME. Wizard for making this and thousands of other machines playable via emulation.

My ramblings........

The layout may be a bit bright for some. But I'm hoping if you look at the youtube videos mentioned above, where possible, you can see, I have really tried to capture as many details of the real machine, including colours on the board and the layout of the machine overall, rather than just doing a generic bland, everything having the same colour board.

Been my favourite layout I've done so far, because it is a machine that has been in my top unemulated machine up until now and you have to work out a lot more by playing, then you do on later tech machines to discover the lamps and reels etc....

Well done, mate.  Nice little classic you've done there.  Always nice to get an old favourite you remember playing emulated. :)

Thanks wearecity, just had a decent play of this and it's a really solid JPM AWP of the time, very much as I remember it. Bit of an arse with the VISA squares on the board but the £3 repeater likes to repeat and a good sound package as well. (I always thought the £3 repeater music could have been better though, maybe they were short on space in the sound ROMs with all those different 'city of the world' samples.)

Great classic too, captures the feel of the real machine nicely - cheers for the release :)
