Hi are all scorpion4 power supplies compatable?
I'm looking at replacing a-

Sanken Gsk017ha marked unit. (Smiley cab)

With a known working-
Sanken Sps040h (eclipse cab)

Both look identical with identical fittings. Only the wiring into the connectors look different in the larger connector blocks between the to cab looms.

Not done this before so thought I'd better check?

Looks like one black 12v wire now goes into a pin marked +5 on the replacement psu?

From memory they are ostensibly the same but one of the wires has to be changed. I’ll try to remember or dig out the details.

Looked at this again today and think it's the two outter most red wires 12v on the right are going the wrong pins on the new psu (a.c. stable and +5) so moved them inside to other free pins marked 12v. Does ring any bells?

Not really, can you do a diagram or annotate a photo?

Hi this is what I have to work with. I'm thinking I could change the red wires in pins 1 and 2 connector To 5 and 6 to rematch the supply? Not done this type of work before though?
