Bullion Bars No Comms Issue

hi all does anyone know how to sort out the no comms to master issue ive found the ip address reset the programme and still wont connect with the top box i load the top box first then load the machines but still have the issue

Have you got you ip addr filled in, under file/preferences, next to IP addr just click find if not.

ye 192.168 ect... mask address is in aswell dont understand why its saying no comms alll the time it was working before?

Are you loading the top box and slaves separately? Opening the top box should auto open the slaves, as they are linked to do that.

 

I have had it where the slaves finish initialising before the top box, but then once the top box finishes, the slaves then reset themselves.

 

Other thing it might be, is that your firewall, is preventing MFME from having net access. As far as windows and you network connection is concerned, v5.1 and v6 are not the same, so previous privileges are not relevant.

i had the same issue but knew how to resolve it.

 

since i checked every open instance (say top master  0 then 1,2,3). closed them all down and started again - and they all worked.

 

if this doesnt work, simply click preferences/find ip on all open instances, and then repeat the above.

 

 

you should now have all games communication with your IP address.

No, that won't work. It doesn't on my Win7 PC anyway
