Got a project going here and found the ROM's I need, but I have no idea at all, how to use MFME v5.x to unpack the roms in to their own individual files, as if they was dumped from the real machine.... anyone have any ideas how to do this?

No idea stanmarsh14, I only use MFME for the games, not creating layouts and messing about with ROMs. Sorry I can't help you.

Just been talking to the end user of the machine, and some total cowboy who's apparently been fixing it, put the P1 and 2 rom's in reverse order, and P4 upside down..... fortunately no lasting damage with the machine now the issues have been corrected by myself / end user, and machine now 100% works as it should.

However for future reference, would still like to find out how this rom unpacking feature works in MFME v5.x :)

Isn't it a case of

Edit Mode > Design > Misc Tools > Unpack MPU5 ROM

then making sure it's a valid Hex file/Bin file & then naming it as it should be & extract?

It is.

It will also unpack a running MPU5 game ( with just one rom file ) and adjust the .gam file to suit.
