Have a question about something I noticed on some DOND machines. Not sure if it is on others but It will sometimes give you a 2 or 11 which makes you land on a hint space / message from the banker and when you go higher / lower it will usually kill you. I was wondering why it was programmed to do this? A good one to test this out on would be Crazy Chair sometimes this will give you a 2 first go and you go higher and it will go to 1. But with any other space, going higher on a 2 would usually result in a win. Why would it kill you off instead of giving you another message / hint which could result in a crappy hint such as going bust? Seems a bit odd.

ha I wondered the same thing .it could just tell you what cash or bust is why kill you.My guess a slight bug.

The more hints/messages gives you an increased chance of a trap.

I didn't realise at first that on some DOND machines, you can use the messages when you have a mystery.

Can be useful when it tells you the next number will be and you get hi lo to continue. Sometimes it'll tell you what the cash or bust will be,so you know if to risk hitting the start to get whatever the mystery is or whether you should do cash or bust.

So basically what Spa says, that's why it doesn't want to give you 3 or 4 of them.
