Question regarding 4 player machine

So the other day I was in the arcade playing a 4 Player Video Monopoly. Listening for the drop etc etc however instead of that, apparently you can look at the reels and get an idea of how full it is? What do I need to look for when doing this?

all you will/might see is the coin level in the hopper...........means nothing though....the hopper might look full but it may have just been refilled if another player had emptied it before you got there.....even coins dropping to cash box means nothing for exactly the same reason as stated (refill)

also...the amount of coins in the hopper will have no effect on how the machine plays.

 

***i know...not 100% true, but 99.9% of the time it is true (im refering to the days of coin tubes and level switches....some machines would lockout token wins if low on tokens..etc***
