Hello, I didn't see an introduction section but wanted to say hi!

My name is Hayden, from Essex and I've just bought a machine off eBay for my man cave/garage! Looking forward to taking delivery!

Its a deal or no deal machine, not sure of any models or year yet, but are manuals available online so I can start reading?

Thanks !

Hi. My name is Thomas Grant. A lot of the guys will tell youu about me. I love this site for playing fruit machines for the sounds as I can't see anything at all, have aspergers and controlled epilepsy. I have joined about a few years ago when I finished college, hence the name, "I have finished". Glad to see you here Hayden, enjoy your stay. MFME 5.1 is the best way to get going emulation wise for deal or no deal machines, loads on offer, and I can recommend www.desertislandfruits.com which has layouts from reg on this site, hats off to you reg!

Thanks for the welcomes!

This is the machine I've bought (http://www.ebay.co.u...872.m2749.l2648)

Can anyone offer some advice for it? I would like to add a note acceptor, there seems to be a few different ones on eBay but not sure what one will work on this machine.

Thanks Hayden

Hi Hayden, welcome to the site. As a relatively newbie myself, I can honestly say that you won't find a more knowledgeable and helpful bunch anywhere on the net.

You're in the right place.

Would love to see some piccies of your machine when you get it delivered and up and running.

:)

Welcome Hayden!

First thing to check to see is if there is already a connection/loom in place for a note acceptor that has previously been fitted as this might guide your decision if so.

Unlikely, but it's still surprising how often they do leave them in place.
