Hi all,

I've been setting up a few machines in MFME and mainly concentrating on the ones with pacdrive support.

Tonight I was setting up a machine called Ready Steady Go DX  (http://www.fruit-emu...ady-go-1600-dx/) another great machine by Ploggy.

Anyhoo... the 'hold' buttons didn't really line up with my first 3 hold buttons so I decided to use the 2nd, 3rd and 4th "hold" button on my cabinet (these have the keys 2,3 and 4).

I went into the 'properties' of the hold buttons on the machine and just changed the 'shortcut' to be either 2, 3 or 4 to suit (previously it was set to 1, 2 and 3)

However, when I played the machine I had strange behaviour. When it gave me holds, if I pressed the first 'hold' button it held reel 1 and 2?

If I pressed the 2nd 'hold' button it held reel 2 and 3?

If I pressed the 3rd 'hold' button it only held reel 3.

Anyone any idea why this is?

I'm guessing I need to change the buttons somewhere else as well as just the 'shortcut' in the properties?

Do they need to be changed somehow in the Component List or something like that?

Or is there somewhere else that needs to be changed?

Thanks :-)

It could well be the buttons from the classic are still in the layout, and they are conflicting.

make the layout larger, and see if the buttons from the classic are still there,

if so just delete them, and see if that helps.

if not then i have no idea of what is causing the errors.

Open the component list and click on the column Shortcut to sort the list, then look for components that have the same shortcut key. If that component has Visible showing as False then it indicates it's offscreen.

Warning: This post is mostly my own opinions and may contain irony, if you are obsessed with PAST history you may want to ignore it.

Thanks for the help guys. When I looked in the component list there were two items next to both 1, 2, and 3 in the shortcut list. One was the button and the other was the lamp. I just changed them both to be 2,3 and 4 and now it's working a treat.

Thanks again for all your help :)
