Maybe worth asking on there.

Doesn't look like anything interesting. Labels miss g from a lot of the eproms so they could be anything. Might already be dumped even.

Don't know how you deduce they don't look like anything interesting Fusion, when as you say there are no labels on a lot of them.

Who knows what may be there, there maybe several that aren't in the public domain.

I've purchased many fruit machine roms from ebay, these I'd say are some S4 based stuff and some with labels removed.   If I see some original stickers on roms that's always an interest but I don't think these will be anything we haven't got already.  But anyone can grab them I guess.

Yep, i have purchased and been given many roms from Ebay and various Companies over the years, you never ever know what turns up in their old stuff... Regularly lots of things that have never been heard of.

I would say these on Ebay too had a few S4 based games, you can tell by the labels, that kind of gives it away. You never know what is on the roms with no labels on, so it would be hard to say i don't think these will be anything we haven't got already. There are 64k roms, 512k roms there etc ; unless you know something no-one else seems to.

It is like me seeing a room full of machines from the back, no idea what they are and saying well, no bother, i don't think there is anything there we haven't already got.

Just saying, you never know but i do feel i know the name from somewhere and if these had been roms by an unknown//new seller, i am pretty sure they would have been jumped on and leeched like a tramp finding an old sarnie.

I did notice that some stickers have been lifted to expose just the type of type of rom which would indicate that they have probably been dumped at some point. I did take a close look. I would be the first to have had a dabble for that price.

Why would I know something anyone else wouldn't know. They are not mine if that's what you are getting at?

When I sell eproms on ebay I always say if they have been dumped for mfme so no one buys them to dump.

Didn't insinuate they were yours, i know your Ebay id. Thought maybe you knew whether they had been dumped or not.

Never mind, don't stress.

Ps why would you know by lifting the rom label to get the Eprom type that it had been dumped?

My programmer doesn't have to know the type of rom, it tells me when i ask it.

No worries. Just clearing things up.

LOL.... Mine doesn't know the type, I did have a superb cheap, too cheap (possibly stolen Dataman), but I sent it back to the seller, my choice, I think I could have probably kept it and still got a refund.   The police never contacted me but ebay gave me a refund and said there was an issue :(

But anyway that's what I do when I get roms to dump just lift the edge of the sticker to check for the type ;)  I assumed everyone did this.

Wouldn't have been any use if it was a stolen one as it could never be updated and could have been possibly locked if an update had been tried.

Yeah I updated the software and it wouldn't work but still worked in the previous supplied software. Was a decent programmer, dataman mempro if I recall. £80. Knew it was too good to be true ;)

It was far too good to be true but in the end all worked out as a deal was made that was in the manufacturers and my favour.  :biglaugh:
