It sure looks like you are.  To clarify, are you, or were you, using the username RETRO MACHINE at Jackpotty?

I'm really not sure what your beef with this guy is.

So he has a youtube channel he plays emulated games and other old fruit machines, sometimes live.

I've never seen him anything but polite on the forums here, Dad's or on his channel. Unlike some who play slots on youtube who just swear every sentence and people think their cool.

He wants to publicise his channel on FME forums. What's the issue, he's not making numerous posts daily or weekly about it, just the odd post now and then to point people towards it.

It's good to see FME get some publicity. If he makes a couple of quid from youtube (and let's face it, that's the issue really here isn't it), so be it.

At least he's putting in the effort, to create something that's fun to watch and interact with, rather than just sell a disc full of layouts on ebay.

Just establishing some facts of my own.  And if he is the same person as was banned on Jackpotty then it was more than the odd post every now and then.   The only beef I currently have is the capitalised postings.

i personally cant see what the problem is like wearecity  says whats wrong with a bit of publicity and i find it great seeing my layouts enjoyed by the wider community, as was once said to me.

once we've released something via the public domain then thats that not a lot we or anyone else can do about it. 

End of the day if the boss don't like like then it should be upto him or at least the staff here's choice to delete this topic and warn him not the members especially banditboy and you're a fine one to talk about things, as for paypal donations then if he;s subscribers feel they want to contribute to his videos then thats their choice not ours

Just to Clarify things

 

Retro is indeed banned from Jackpotty. I have no problem with people trying build channels, promote things on my forum, We've got a section for The Bandit & J G Slots to prove that, but it should be a 2 way thing ie if you wanna use the forum for your own gains at least use the forum properly and you know post from time to time in other threads not just things promoting your own channel.

 

Spamming potty daily with loads of vids and still trying to use links after you'd been shown that the forum auto embeds vids wasn't my idea of being a member worth keeping.

 

Hell you've only got to see here 5 years a member and only 3 posts, 2 of them on this thread and the other is plugging his channel too. Not a Thankyou in sight for any of the games he's downloaded to make a Vid of.
