I'm sticking to the original Big 7 and bar-X machines until security is taken from these roms lol, thanks vex anyway! Still a bit on topic, good to see the base cabinet from good old Westen lol, big thanks to them, you and Hitthesix! The bar X machines made my day yesterday, and I'm enjoying them so much. Anyway, I was looking for Bar X Xtreme, and I've lost the file. Was it broken? If anyone sees this, please PM it to me as I think this is almost the same as an OXO machine for now, and I'd like it back. It's currently on my crashed lappy in the world of dust bin lol! Long live Windows 10 and a faster lappy which I low have, yea!

Thanks Captain, now got some classics to play! Looked in the S5 section, must have skipped it by accident, these things happen when you're blind. Now got B X Xtreme, Bar X classic, and all 4 Bar X DX versions! My fav's gotta be the 10p £5 JP and £8 20p from Weston, have played these and they pay out loads! This one goes crazy as well, had £70 JP on my old lappy, see if this Win 10 lappy runs it any faster? Scorp 5 runs a lot faster on this one, at least, DONDs do.

Yeah FruitBash, I quite agree with you there, and also Oxo variations too! Didn't know there was an oxo club? Wow! Can't wait to see these ROMs running, have downloaded for the interest.

Yep, I noticed the oxo club the other day - never seen that in a casino! And I used to go to them enough!

Hi Jackpot7, what do you mean by the MAB Bar-X? Well, we have Bar-X Extreme Scorp5 and the Electrocoin classics and DXs for now to enjoy. I hope the security issue can be resolved for these OXO roms for emulation purposes. Used to play on Super Reels, 30p play. I never got the top box, but always left with at least a few quid. Speak soon.

Oh yeah, that'll be so great, but I have super multi nudge with flash holds and they have the same sounds as the MAB bar-X.

Yeah the Bar-x with the MAB chip ( i think it is called MAB ), used to flash for winning nudges. It would flash the jackpot then you could nudge for it just like the Big 7's. They had quite a few of them dotted around the arcades in Southend on Sea. Circus Circus had a 10p, £5 jackpot one.

We're all in the same boat. I've tried lots of sets and can't get anything to boot successfully. Some show signs of life, whilst some don't do anything.

I know some of the concept games run on scorp2. I don't know which is which.

I was hoping the MAB games would run but not sure if Chris has emulated these. Not too sure what info he has on these machines.

It looks like only the newer types of Concept roms will work, if Random Gold, and Poundstretcher are anything to go by.  The older roms are still non-runners by the looks of things.  Hopefully I'm proved wrong though. :)

Cheers Ploggy ;)

I don't suppose you know about the £70 version of Bar X on Concept do you? Not sure if it was called Casino Super Bar X, it flashes for wins bit like the MAB version. 50p play.
