Well hopefully the topic name made you look just to see what I'm on about.

So, does anyone remember a machine that had role play type play, might have been Dungeon and Dragon based, possibly red cabinet and would have been around the mid 90s.

I think you had health points which would be depleted in battles as you moved around the board. I'm sure dragons were on the feature board. I think the board also was wide rather than tall.

No it's not Tomb Raider lol.

While you're here reading this, also a London Underground based machine, based on the circle line I think, blue cabinet, board like winner takes all and the machine with the stopwatch on it, which is emulated, but can't remember the name atm.

Any pics, info would be great.

I mentioned this over at the mecca a while back.  I think the machine was called 'Dungeon Master' had a small lcd for the graphics.

This is the only image available.  It's small but you might recognise it from this.

Thanks for the replies. It certainly wasn't Streetfighter, but it could well have been Dungeon Master, such a shame it's a small picture. I do remember it being unlike anything I had played before.

Blimey that brings back sweet memories.

I recall one of these slots in Cleveleys near to where I live.

The arcade sadly is now a clothes shop.

I lost a fortune on that game, but boy was it so addictive. :err:  And because it was such a pleasure to play the loss on the slot was more than worth it,as the slot had so much depth-in sound, gamplay and features.

The burning question is-with the new emulator, can it be recreated>??

Thanks I'm 99.9% certain, it was Dungeon Master. I played it in the well known Crystal Rooms arcade, Leicester Square London.

Not sure it was £10 jackpot though, possibly £6 or £8.

As for running well I'm sure even if not now it would be possible in the future, but I highly doubt we have the resources to see. Although I've everything crossed that we have.

As for the underground one, well perhaps it was a test or limited run machine. I only remember playing it in a small arcade, on the Edgware Road, between Marble Arch and Paddington station.

EDIT... Can't believe it, but the little arcade is still there https://goo.gl/maps/crsqVzzJwvm

Cracking little game :)

They had a Dungeon Master in one of my local arcades in Weston-super-Mare.  Came in on £8 tokens but got converted to £10 all cash when the new jackpots came in.  There was a guy that used to come in every week at the same time and play it, such was the novelty and entertainment factor.  LCD screen was a nice touch.

Quite a rare machine, the only other one I ever saw was in Southend.

We're light on resources for a lot of this style of Electrocoin games sadly.  Mr. Do was another game I didn't see very many of.

Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

Holy cow, DM looks interesting.

Does anyone think it could be done?
