Well thanks very much. When you get old like my mother, you have tendencies to forget things and time. I had to remind her that Mayday was next week, she kept insisting it was tomorrow haha. Also, thanks to an old English tradition that's still alive to this day, I went to Oxford Folk Weekend yesterday. There were lots and lots of different Morris sides, from Cotswolds morris which is more sedate, to more fast-paced aggressive morris called Border. This has a lot of shouting like "Aah!" "Hey!" and "Ooh!" and a lot of thrusting the sticks in the air. The music is also highly squeezebox influenced. There'll probably be a St. Georges Day dedicated thing going on there today. By the way, this may become a bank holiday in the new June election if Labour, so don't vote labour! That's if you want the bank holidays to stay the same. They say that all Patrent Saints days are all going to be bank holidays! I'm not happy with that, we have enough already, Banbury has enough hoodies on skateboards hanging around causing havvock on the streets during the normal ones, I don't want more of that! This is all in my own opinion before you start commenting that I'm going off the rails again, but I think it's true. I mean, teenagers having nothing to do and having more bank holidays, I think there's no need for that. If I get over 20 likes I'll be pleased that other people agree with me. Now, back to the football and DOND the dream factory ... hopefully a £70 jackpot! I need it!

I think St george's day should be a bank holiday for England as is St paddy day in Ireland or at least in this third of great britain (at the moment unless sturgeon gets her way) it should be more reconsigned, i bet the schools tomorrow don,t even mention it in case it offends someone somewhere

Well Vex, I can tell you our Primary school is Church of England, so it had to. Probably still does to this day. Well, that may be the answer to why I heard fireworks at midnight? That's another one that annoys me. I thought fireworks for for every melenium, not every year, but hey. Also it annoys me when people have them at birthday parties.
