Hi everyone this is my first post so im sorry if this is a silly/obvious question or in the wrong place etc.

Near where i live there is an independant arcade ive been going to for years.. ive been playing the T777 machines for a few years. Martians mushrooms rainbow games etc. Up until christmas just gone i would usually do quite well on them by playing the ones with high pots and then getting the run afterwards. Obviously id lose sometimes but made money overall on them. I liked the fact on £1 stake you could be 300-400 involved and still come out ahead.

Anyway had a 3 week break over xmas and went back in january to find they play absolutely terrible now. At first i thaught it was bad luck but after losing about £4,000 in 2 weeks i asked the staff about it. The manager said oh we were told to update the software ages ago but we just got around to it.. so i checked the help screen and noticed it had gone from version 1.1 to 1.5 and the payout had reduced from 92% to 88%. Ive checked all the nobles/quicksilver etc near me and theyve all had the same done to them.

So i was wondering is this a national thing? And does anyone else think these play TERRIBLE now compared to before. And do they EVER streak now ive never had or even seen a streak since xmas. The cynic in me thinks the 4% they took out was the run so it dont happen anymore. My final go on these was on a maxed mushrooms £1 spin that took a grand with no pot so after that i gave them up.

Is anyone out there still lucky enough to have them on 92% or is it national. Im gutted theyve ruined what was a good game

Thanks

I forgot to say, i realize the FME scene is not about money etc but after playing these T7 for years im finding it really hard to let go of playing them. Even tho they are nothing like they were i keep getting drawn to them. So if anyone out there ever manages to make these games on an emulator i would be very grateful. Id offer up payment for a copy to stop me giving the arcade my profits back. I was thinking of maybe £1,000 to whoever gets them emulated. I know nothing about how emulators work i dont know if its possible im just putting the offer out there

Thanks

For the amount you've blown, you could buy yourself two T777 machines that would be yours to keep and play.

The one that I own, I've had a couple of JP's out within a reasonable time £500 on New York New York and Rainbow Pots Seasonal, but it goes dead at time for long periods of time.

At least if you own one, you never lose.

Yeah i had thaught of that and would pay the price for one or even 2. But my problem is when they go wrong. Because SG etc wont touch people who have them for home use so getting parts is impossible? If it was possible to replace parts i would have a couple with the 100jp games on set at 98% and use to save up etc. I dont miss the 4k so much cos its just some of the money i won in past years but i ca feel myself struggling to stay off them and dont want to give all the profit back so to speak. Ive never liked 500s i prefer compensated so you know your getting your % back and they can streak or at least they used to lol. Noone ever plays T7 in the arcades now after they went to 88% its just short sighted greed

Thats why i put out the offer of £1,000 for an emu of T7 £100 games so no risk of breaking down but ritdav above says it cant be done

You've had it pretty good, an arcade running 1.1,most were running 1.3 up until the 1.5 thieving update. These don't streak anything like they used to, my advice is steer clear.
Hold the bells mate.

Yeah the manager at the arcade said they were told to update months ago but hadnt got around to it. And staff in nobles etc say T7 were popular until the update, but surely if its so bad and noone plays theyl change it back or at least change it again? Or is that me being too hopeful. And after a grand with no pot i wont be playing them again

www.videoslots.com for those that can't get a machine into the house.

This is an online casino site-It does not have the  777 slots on the site.

There may be slight variations of the slots in the arcades but nothing in comparison.

They all run on xp mainly as does still the worlds technology-despite windows dropping xp like a stone(re no updates etc now)

I'm more than sure any of the slots could be emulated and i'm sure people out there probably have them up and running-just surmising!!!

If you look at the emulations we have some of the tech that is now possible to emulate re the new emulators is very similar to the games on the 777 slots.

Although if it was emulated i'm also sure there would be several letters at the various emu sites door mats-As I can't see the big names standing back over emulated £500 slots that are mainstream in all arcades.

I agree Tommy

Yet you also have to look at the demise of the arcade industry too coupled with tourism reducing at an alarming rate in particular, across the countries coastline.

Blackpool had 2x kids hols recently and I travelled along the c.front to visit my uncle. Near on 6 trips we made and every time it was midday and true I couldnt count every soul but at a rough estimate there was never any more than 500 people on the front, sometimes less!

So with that in mind and Coral Island housing near on the equivalent in the no of slots-the many slots are just not getting played.

To the original poster if you are hell bent on playing the 777 slots-then head to places where they are played frequently.-

Bingo halls, bookies and casinos. Town arcades are usually ok too but out of season they are places to avoid too.

As Reg stated above invest in one-I know what you are saying re breakdown etc but there are a lot of knowledgeable people on the emulation sites, who will always help out when ever they can.

Wish I had the room to house one or two :nah:  :nah:

Try reelsoffun it's a simulation site the games are fairly priced at least you'll curb your gambling habit, you have got it bad, pure addiction. First off have you tried avoiding arcades if not you get ban yourself as in self exculsion. Personally owning your own machine doesn't cure the addiction as you'll soon get fed up of winning your own money there's nothing like having the edge over a machine owner but in reality they'll screw every penny out of you. My choice would be if you can't live without playing em is to get a SIM from the above site or play these wonderful emulations of machine's that are actually fun to play, even some Donds lol. You'll still get the same fix but without the cost!!
Or failing that take up tennis soon be Wimbledon lol.
Nah seriously you need a break from em as they'll suck you dry then onto the next mug!!

Vectra666, i agree with everything youve said mate, your right i do have it bad. Have tried self exlusion but they just tell you to come back tomorrow to see a manager etc when they know youll have calmed down and wont bother. I know theyll suck me dry aswell i feel so stupid for letting myself get sucked in tbh. I am gonna buy a T7 i really want one i doubt id ever get bored of that so it would save up for me

They do mate but they are a totally different concept.

Online you can stake upto £500 a spin on R.riches-WTF!!!!!-ruddy mental.

In the services, arcades, bookies and bingo halls the payout is capped to £500,with max spin at £2(although you can play mega bets in bookies upto £50!!-why!! :err:

Casinos are capped at £10,000 jackpots but I do believe that is the same tech as in the arcades with the £500's.

They are also different percentages-most online casinos average 96-98%

A lot of arcade £500's vary from 90%-94% but I have seen lower!!!

I stopped playing fruit machines when the jackpot went over £25 they don't pay like they used to you knew there would always be the 3 jackpot roll to play for and when you got it you were buzzing but now they rob you blind as the amount you put in shows .I personally cant see the fun in putting £10 in and 30 secs later £0 sure it must be nice IF you hit the big one but unless you the luckiest man on the planet it will be very very rare my advice is stay away and play emu's like a lot sugest
