Hi guys,

I've got a Triple 7 machine here and after the MPU board went, I put a new one in. It all boots up again fine now in open door mode, but in closed door mode it is giving this error message when loading:

Someone told me I need a "cleardown card" or something if I change the MPU, as the SR3e coin mech in the machine needs to be reset? Is this what the error message is getting at? If so, what is a cleardown card and where do I get one?

Thanks in advance!

This is a clear down card for MPU5

Someone also said years ago that you could just put a came card from another game in and it would do the same thing, but I don't know how true it is as I've never tried it.

Changing program cards clears the ram.
I have opened boards up and shorted the battery with a pair of pliers for a few secs as well.

I was going to mention that as well richy, but this being a T7 I didn't bother in case it knackers it up.

They are so unpredictable I didn't want to gat any blame lol

I am very sorry about what has happened here. :(

Thanks for the replies guys! I'm hoping that clearing the ram will fix the issue! I've put a random program card in a barcrest sit down elvis machine and that cleared the ram. I'll try getting hold of a cleardown card and see if clearing the ram will make the coin mech work again. I'll update the thread when done!

I wouldn't mind trying a random card just to see if it clears things just like a cleardown card would!

Thanks to everyone who has helped so far, really appreciate it, thanks!
