Words can't just say what has gone on this past year with all the amazing talent that have been sent to heaven and the latest one to be struck down is Liz Smith.

I remember her playing "Mrs Cropley in the Vicar of Dibley" and "Nana in Royle Family"

Just when we thought it must be the last celeb to go in 2016

Better known as Nanna from the Royle family has gone at the age of 95.

Not a good time to be famous.

Liz Smith (95) passed away on the 24.12.2016. Well known mainly as 'Nana' in 'The Royle Family'. Also featured as Mrs. Cropley in 'The Vicar Of  Dibley'.

Another talented soul lost in 2016 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty good age, a lot better than a few people have managed this year...

Yes another sad one, not really into music, but big names lost in that field of entertainment and some of my favourite female comedians gone as well, Aherne, Wood and now Smith.

I do think though, modern media, just highlights it more, but it's not been significantly more losses than previous years.

How many times like me, have you seen an old program and thought what else have they been in and found they died in the 1990's or early 2000's and you didn't know.
