Hi. Hoping Wizard or someone else can help me here. I am working on a new DOND DX  ......

 

And wondered how to correctly set up LED lamps. The only reason I'm struggling with this is because the layout I am doing, I suspect the main game logo and title are lit with LEDs instead of standard lamps.There are no lamps in the lamp test and there is a LED test in the test menu where I can turn LEDs "on" or "off" but it seems to do nothing. I have created an array of LEDs but they only light in correlation to the 7-segs Maybe this title doesnt light the main logo but Im doubtful about that (unfortunately I've never played it)

 

The game is DOND Golden Game if anyone has a clue about the words "Golden Game" at the top and how they are lit??

 

I tried ticking "LED" under the lamp properties but without a lamp ID it doesnt do anything

 

I've also tried looking through the lamp matrix to see if there are any lamps that arent mentioned in lamp test that may just have been missed out. Can't see any obvious ones.

 

I would imagine the title lamps would dim and glow or flash on a GATW but no lamps do this, so I'm kind of stuck and without anyone having the answer I will have to release it without the logo lamps (although not a big issue at all)

Well if that's the case I'll still finish it and not release it yet. Whats the current consensus on releasing layouts? I assumed that pre £100s were ok but don't want to upset anyone.

spa do you know about the top logo in real life or have any ideas about these leds? I assume you didn't find a solution.as your classic doesn't have them either

Top logo is LED. If you look on some of the YT vids it's a really bright white, I believe this is where they started experimenting with LEDs for names etc to be low energy seeing as they're used a lot in attract etc. MFME doesn't seem to support them either. That & this has to be one of the last machines on SC5 from BFM, seems odd them keep using it given they've had Sc6 since 2010/2011.

 

As for it being a current machine it is over 3 years old (3 1/2 at least) & there was always a 3 year soft rule was there not?

 

Either way i'll be releasing my classic towards X-mas once i've had time to spruce it up a bit more.

Mfme must support leds as they can make the red reels on dx's?

Yeah, never found them. It didn't bother me as such as it was just the gameplay I wanted tbf.
