Electrocoin magic 7 Have just got this machine non worker,powers up main board lights and lights power on and a hum from the speaker no display lights and that's it it needs a hopper as this was missing and a Epsom was out. Looking for a manual or if any one who has one.

Yes guys it was an auto correct, typed it in ok did not look again until I posted and could not change it,will check next time.

Was the eprom just out of the board, or is it missing?

It was out of the board found it when I removed the reels.

You've replaced it, checked it's the right way round and that none of the pins are bent?

Yes have checked all appears to be ok, hopper board is missing would this stop it booting up everything or would reel lights etc come on and reel spin.

It would boot thecalarm with hp in the credit display.

Have took the board out and found the battery had been leaking,have cleaned with vinegar will get a new battery and retry.

Often the way unfortunately.
No need to replace the battery before you test it, it should run without one.
Cleaning the board is all very well, but there's probably damage that's already been done by the corrosive alkaline leakage...

Will give it ago tomorrow see what happens it only powered up with the 5v +_ and 12 v lights on nothing more probably more damage than what I can see. will post back tomorrow. Thanks

Well tried today still same issue board lights power up,nothing else,is there anyone who repairs boards on the forum I could get in touch with.
