My first layout in almost 10 years, impulse's Gridrunner. This will be a classic layout with hopefully all lamps in the correct places ready for someone who is better at graphics than me to dx. Hoping to release this in the next couple of days.
It feels good to be back 😃

Heh, I had this machine in my keeping for awhile (Most reliable epoch machine I have ever owned too), before passing it over to one of the mecca members, but not before I got the rom's dumped, so be nice to see this again, and give it an absolute thrashing

Quad-Colour lamp arrangements, and quite a few of em to do too, so got your work cut out on this one.

yes the quad lamping was "fun" to do. Worked out theres a pattern to the lamping. As long as you work out one of the lamp numbers the rest are 16 apart from each other and always in the same order R/B/G/W which made it much easier!
I'm close to finishing, half done the layout properly now, expecting to release either Wednesday or Thursday

I'll try and post something later when I'm home and working on it. Keep in mind though it is a classic layout so won't be anything special!

Why dont you just use test mode to find the lamps, makes it ablittle easier.
Hold the bells mate.

the only test modes ive found on epoch either light everything or cycle through so quickly you cant make anything out. Everything is figured out now, just setting it up to look like a proper layout. I know what you mean though....i think its mpu5 that displays what each lamp is on the alpha??(its been a while!).

Ok its pretty much done apart from notes for keys, tweaking the colour of the right hi lo reel numbers to be more like the machine and a bit of test play. I'm expecting to finish off tomorrow and release the same night...I've had enough for tonight.
...and as promised here's a screenie!
