It's been a while, but hi all!

I have just got myself an Empire Games machine called Apache Gold (remake of Eureka) anyway, housed in a genesis cabinet, it turns out to be an MPU4 board. The machine dates at 2000, but I was wondering if you can convert this to an MPU5. I have lots of spare parts and boards, but the material isn't an issue, just wondering if its possible and how easy to do is it...?

thanks

If the game was never written for MPU5 and suspect it wasnt then the answer is NO.

Okay thanks.

There seems to be an issue with the lamps where they light at the same time on the cash, nudge a d feature stack and somewhat go really bright. Need to have a good look at the board for damage... I presume a leak with a track link causing lamp issues?

And have a look to make sure ALL of the green and blue lamping plugs are not plugged into the mpu and expansion boards one pin out.

Weird, I did pull out the green and then blue and the lamp issue was fixed... not entirely sure how that worked, but thanks
