Hi Guys

I have recently aquired the above machine from my place of work after a brek in the insurance wrote the machine off along with another one where the glass was smashed.

I have been offered them both and the Deal or No deal has no obvious damage until i powered up and it read Reel 5 Err25

When Opening the cabinet the 1-12 reel the decal has slight cracks in it would ths cause the error and has anyone ever had this fault and managed to fix it, would i need t get a new decal set? the manual says check the opto

New to owning a machine always been on the other side playing so any help would be much apprecaited

Many Thanks

Steve

The opto is the electronic eye that senses where the reel is positioned.

Cracks in the decals are not going to be an issue.

I managed to sort the main reel bands on the Monopoly I had, I used clear sticky back plastic on the back of them, and it worked a treat, a bit fiddly to do but worked well and I could even stick the little missing bits back in once the main part was done.

I got some pics somewhere so I'll have a look for them.

Actually it seems it was ALL the reels lol, only have the 'after' pics for some reason unless I put them somewhere else and lost them when I changed pc's.

Anyway this was the end result....

They're fairly standard and cheap and easy to obtain.

Hi Guys

So update on the post i have now got this machine in the garage and still getting the reel 5 err 25 which points to the opto in the manual however i moved the long connector to reel six booted the machine up and it gave me reel 6 err 25, i then put the leads back in orginal place and now get no green led on reel 6 and still get the reel 5 error,

the machine on the whole is in good condition i am not sure if i have the time or knowledge to get this up and running

do any of you experts on here think it would get anything if i sold it?

i also got the red gaming pulsation machine which has had all the front glass smashed the machine fires up but says data port error again would this be of use as spares and where would i start with selling?

thanks for your help with the

is again

if they are of any value to anyone on here and they can be picked up i am prepared to give 20% of buying price as a donation to keep this excellent site running
