you're absolutely right, the only connection to the program is the "cheque book & pen", which was the naff consolation prize.

Anyway many thanks for your latest release, looks fun to play.

just a little info on this, maybe this machine isn't based on the british version of blankety blank but the Australian version.

Australia actually showed this show before Britain  back in 1977

The chequebook and pen thing used to baffle me. As a fairly small child at the time I didn't really get the concept of something like that as a trophy, but I had seen my parents write cheques and I understood their basis as a negotiable instrument of value.
So I assumed the one that you got as a prize was much the same, although I couldn't work out what bank it would be drawn from!

Some quick research shows that original chequebook and pen prizes are difficult to come by, should you choose to collect one, but later Savage ones are common as the proverbial. Figures really!

Suppose it was another tacky prize that only the bbc could give out, they still do now at least ITV had/has decent prizes apart from the dusty bin (3,2,1) and a set of darts and a beer mug or goblet for the women, how sexest would that be today (bullseye)
Also coincidence or what, they're reviving the programme for Xmas with David Williams presenting

Me and a good mate of mine where playing a Project Coin Bullseye in a little village pub, while at the bar we noticed a 'Bendy Bully' from the show and it turned out this guy was actually contestant.

Original Bendy Bully figures are even more difficult to find, because various versions were sold commercially.

One person who did have an original from the program said that it was made from a sort of foam, and literally disintegrated!

correct ammusements,I have a friend who won a bully on the show.

And it is a mess from just sitting on a shelf at home.

holes everywhere in it from the last time I see it  20 years ago now.

It must be totally disintegrated by now.
