Is there any updates on PA2 ? or is the latest version 1.02 still? sorry ive been moving house and lost touch on the scene for a month or so.

The emulator was released, but only a couple of layouts (machines) released for it, Italian Job and The Simpsons (a clone of Great Escape). So there really isn't much to see, certainly not a disc full of machines.
You'll need a Direct X 11 capable graphics card at least, to get the emulator up and running.

When the MFME v5 is released, then I'm sure we will see tens and tens of layouts released for it, including all of what you have mentioned.
