Okies someone had to do it lol.

First and foremost I voted Stay for my own reasons, a legal and binding vote was taken and WE chose to leave in a democratic way. I respect that :)

Now the reason for my thread.....I smiled at some of the 'joke' UK/GUV petitions i've seen on FB, eg Redo Friday's Lotto as I didn't win hahaha.

But looking at some of the REAL submissions made me make this thread...

https://petition.par...t.uk/petitions/

There's some bloody corkers in there to make you smile :)

Some serious Ones too, but the idea of this post is to look at the loony Ones .

I do need to remind everyone that we only do politics on here when it relates directly to FME, fruit machines or the gaming industry.

I'm happy for people to share some of the silly petition examples they have seen, but anything posted that relates directly to the actual result of the referendum or voices a political opinion about it or issues surrounding it will be deleted.

Also I'm not sure if your link is correct?

There certainly seems to be some interesting ones in the "Rejected" section:

Nope, mine was right Alex, there are some submitted (Non-Political) that are in the submit stage.....

Hence the reason for my post....."some weird applications".

Coming up on my Facebook feed are "Bring Michael Jackson back from the dead" and "To let Corsa drivers legally finger 14 years olds".

Don't think they will make it through to the actual public somehow!

I suggest a two part petition.

1. Stop fruit machine companies from releasing anymore Deal or no Deal or clones of these shite machines.

2. Ban and publicaly flog any newbie on here who asks the question "where is deal or no deal"

Come here to post jokes, oh and to play the occasional frutie.

Ok as this is a political thread, and directly relates to FME, here goes...

The reason modern machines are a bag of shite are the breweries [for the most part].

If the machines can't get sited in the big pub chains, then the rental operators won't buy the machines, hence low sales and dead company.

So the breweries make all sorts of requests about how the machines should play (tight as fu*k being one example).

If the cash box isn't full of punters money, they don't care if the game is good or not, and if it isn't full they'll be buying elsewhere pronto.

The manufacturers have to make what they can sell. It's a horrible situation, but there it is.

From an idealistic point of the view, the manufacturers should tell the breweries to bugger off. The manufacturers don't tell the breweries which types of beer they should sell, so why are the breweries telling the manufacturers what types of game to make.

DOND machines are only everywhere because punters keep playing them, and if it wasn't for DOND, BFM would've been dead long ago, another set of people out of work.

It would take a lot of money and time to start making 'playable' machines, you'd have to ignore all the breweries (easy cash if they are knocking at the door), and build up a reputation with the right punters (who left when the £500's came out).

It's not going to happen, the 80's were 25 years ago. Just be glad that soon (if it ever gets finished), you'll be able to play the good machines in all their glory.

I had a free £10 off of SkyBet. I put it on a straight 2/3 England winning instead of Iceland @ 7/1...

The 'safe' option (so I thought) to turn £10 'pretend' cash in £15 real One's......

I really thought before placing it, "it's free so a silly bet"?............Wasn't so 'silly' after all :(

DOH !

Fella I watch that too.....I always though cringe at the thought......these Guy's are basically Con-Merchants.

They see stuff (that they know is valuable) and offer $'s above for crap.....Once a deal is done on the rubbish they gain trust and then hit on the money making items.

My Ex is from Atlanta, the Bible Belt....and the place this is from......May God strike them down hahaha ;)

You are right, but it's addictive!!!!  Hi-Ball the cr*p and Low-Ball on the good stuff. There has been some good, pinball and old fruit machines on the shows, real early mechanical stuff as well.

Watchout for them 'RedNecks'.........Yee Haa!!!!!!!!!
