was wondering if anyone knows anything about scorpion 2 boards please
had new machine in board looks sound boots up fine etc so went to stuck a new battery on it.
left it on for a few hours turned it off
next day turn it back on error 53 comes up and pots have reset on it (cops and robbers machine btw)
try it again leave a credit overnight check next morning has reset again.
downloaded a manual off here to try and source problem found out a "switch" by the battery is missing sw3 it is called according to manual this can be "opened to clear the ram but should remain soldered shut all other times"
i assume that because this is missing it is reading the machine as in ram clear mode all the time? what i want to know is can a bit of metal be soldered to it to bridge the gap so to speak and cure the problem?
