Hi managed to get this old dx running again as the original download wasn,t accepting coins etc.

Was thinking of redoing this oldie maygay, but first is there any way the stake/jackpot can be changed to the £2.40cash/£4.80token 20p play if not is there any roms out there for this on them levels. If not I will reproduce the layout on its original layout setting @£2.40p 2p play as it could do with a v-tech makeover lol

strange thing about this machine the "fifth" hidden feature the skill climb doesn,t appear to exist or there don,t appear to be a lamp for it and there's dual lamps for the "force" part of the logo and finally there's no lamps for the trail 10-40 very odd unless the flyers incorrect???

Is it just me who hated these games. Were very borin on 5p play.

It appears to play OK maybe due to the £1repeater and £2.40 JP so basically the same as 20p play £4.80jp

I think the roms were unswitchable, like some other early maygays, as for the missing lamps

 

try lamp 35 for "skill climb"

 

and lamps 37 38 39 155 for the 10-40, see if they light up, as I am sure it is the same lamps as one of my old layouts

I'll give em a go and report back tonight I think lamps 36,37,38,40,41 are nudges on here. 35 is for another hidden feature tried 31 but nowt.

They use 7 segs, and are located right above the 7's for jackpot.

I see what you mean the seven segs section on the layout is above the 777's but on the flyer the £2.40 decal is below the 777's so I'd assume the higher £4.80 token jackpot decal would be above it. So last night I modified the flyer removing the 10_40 and I may put the super score metre in place of them unless I find the little yellow lamps lol

still no extra lamps to be found so I'll probably do like the original layout as in only four hidden features and like ht6 says put the 7seg above the 777's

next post will probably be a forthcoming one if the flyer used lights up ok lol.

I managed to get it to £4.80p jackpot, but not   10p or 20p play as of yet, i will try again later tonight

 

if you want to make the jackpot at £4.80p  ??

Yes makes it more challenging shame about not finding the 20p play also did you find the missing lamps. Or are they just not on the machine
Was the £4.80 something to do with that checkbox37

that is what is confusing you.

 

so the 7 segs are needed for 10-40

also there is only 4 features

 

button 37 as a checkbox changes to £4.80p jackpot.

 

I also checked the manus list of machines ( in case I was mistaken)and "full force" isn't listed

Right so the game is running searchlight ROMs not full force if that's the case I'll scrap this unless we need a smaller jackpot prizeplan version?

may still redo fullforce, but in the mean time i've been fiddling around with some sudden impact images thanks to spa.

the images are for the 5p £6 classic layout by hitthesix. Needs a bit more work via photoshop things like the buttons etc. placed the images used within the fullforce cabinet

Plays quite well on 20p/ £3 this does.

Are you doing this on 5p with the jackpot @ £6 ?

 

i have the 20p/ £6  roms if you need them ( can also make it 20p/£3)

Me being lazy lol I'll probably keep it at the classic layout setting of 5p £6 JP as would have to redo the decals, although I do have a lit image of the higher stake/JP level. Upload the ROMs in case though cheers.

The hidden features I take it by looking at the image above are win series, stop a win , 10 nudges, either reel climb or skill climb not sure on that one and finally fruit lines.
Is there any up n down arrows for fruit lines?
And does anybody know where the repeat yes/no would be positioned

Found a few YouTube vids of this and found out what text goes where. It appears there's six lamps for the logo, the repeat chance is above the jackpot level and hidden feature is skill climb.

Just been reading through this topic and as said full force was using searchlight ROMs and can be jp switchable via checkbox37 if that's the case I'll try it in my old £6 searchlight layout if successful I still have the artwork prepped for £4.80jp somewhere so might re-release that layout again on the original £4.80jp and scrap the remade full force artwork.

The jackpot is adjustable to £3 cash  and "not"  both  i.e  £3 or £6

 

 

same will go for your layout. with button 37 checked.
