Yes we did Ady. A great result for FE and thanks to everyone involved. For those who don't know hitthesix won with a bid of £16. Enquiries were made but the seller was not in possess of the Cash Kicka ROMs.

Are you and or Nails still OK to collect the glasses.

£16 seems like a good price for some rare glasses.  Should be able to get some cracking shots of them for emulation purposes.  Well done to everyone concerned.

To keep you all up to date on this, HT6 is contacting the seller for the collection address and ady and possibly nails will be collecting the glasses on our behalf.  We then need to get them scanned and the images to Ploggy to get the DX done.

 

On a side note, HT6 has offered to pay for the glasses himself as a donation to the site so thanks to him for this.  Alex - could you add HT6's donation to the group buy donators list?

 

This goes to show what can come together in F-E world when the will is there.  Thanks to all concerned; it ended better than I expected when I posted the first note just over a week ago on this thread.  If anyone else spots any resources come up for sale that would benefit the cause then hopefully this experience will show them what to do.

I'll happily get a DX done for this, but that doesn't mean that someone else can't do one as well if they wish.  This is a FME collaboration, so if anyone wants to do a DX as well that would be totally cool with me.

Cost me £20 to pick-em up (that's my contribution lol), but they are in the hands of FME.

 

What a really nice guy the seller was too...hope he get's more!
