The laugh is the wife's mate is staying with us at the mo and she is from Stoke lol. I've ordered one off swallow so hopefully that will do the trick! :)

OK folks latest update. Got sensor today and fitted. Alarm has disappeared and reel is pretty much lining up. Only problem is that it's not lining up with what it thinks it is. I'm about 2 icons out. Anyone know how I can reset the reels?

Adjust the reel position, bit of trial and error. or the band itself has shifted?

The band hasn't shifted. But what the computer thinks it's got it hasn't. If I am making sense?

OK guys. Bumping this back up again. After an unsuccessful repair attempt I left the machine alone for a while.

Decided to get stuck back in to it again and I realised the new opto sensor I fitted has a different part number from the one that was originally fitted.

The one I'm after is an Omron 3239P2443t

I can only find US suppliers in stock that require a minimum $50 order plus about £15 postage!

Can anyone help!?

I'm scrapping a load of reels today an I will look out for the correct sensor for you, but all I've found so far are the 4235A type...

Success I hope... I found a couple of Gamesman reels and one had a broken sensor but the other is intact.

It's the Barcrest 3239 P2 variety, the last set of digits used to vary as far as I remember.

Send me a PM if you want it.

Well folks after aaamusements supplied me with the right part and after a bit of setup tinkering the machine is now back up and running correctly!

Thank you to all for your guidance and advice and to aaamusements for the correct part!
