I used to love playing these when i had a pc but since getting a mac a few years back i havent been able to play them, any way of getting an emulator for mac? thanks guys

Not for a Mac. If you have one of the more recent Apple Computers, you could try running 'BootCamp', which would emulate windows and then you could run the FME program.
Or just get an old AMD/Intel PC running XP for not much money and use it as an FME machine.

WINE/Parallels should allow you to run it on OSX, sound may be broken on mpu4/earlier machines as they use a hacky version of synth sound.
